1  Other / Meta / Re: How Can The Forum Monitor And Stop Cyberbulling? on: Today at 06:35:01 AM
Post edit: consecutive posts by OP have been deleted by mod that separated my posts. I do pay attention to forum rule #32.

You should merge already this post to your old post above because you are violating the forum rules if you keep this comment stands the same way you suggest above given the current circumstances.

If you decide to post, keep your comments on the topic and explain how your advice is helpful.

The rule of Thank you is more important than the topic? Cyberbully!
I'm not trying to attack anyone here. The point is simply about keeping the discussion readable and engaging. I bet you if we all made multiple consecutive replies  in a row you won't want to engage in such thread, because it makes the thread  cluttered, people automatically lose interest, and the conversation itself suffers.

The very reason spacing replies out or consolidating thoughts into one post helps everyone. This has little or nothing to do with authority or "thank you" rather channelled more towards preserving the quality and purpose of the discussion, in line with the spirit of the unofficial Rule #32 as pointed out by @Cricktor

Do you have any helpful comments on this topic?

I pity your continued pathetic behavior. You either are incapable or deliberately unwilling to respect forum rules. Under normal circumstances you'd already be on my ignore list, but I make an exception extra for you. You literally asked for it: I will closely monitor your forum rule violations and report any of them. Do I enjoy this? Absolutely not!

The game you play here today is of no value for the forum, at least that's how I perceive it. I doubt other participants or readers of this thread enjoy your endless full-quotes thanks and needless consecutive posts.

Oh and you can freely call me cyberbully again and again. Just go ahead and embarrass yourself further.

I have small hopes that you might learn from your mistakes, but that's up to you. Maybe some moderator will have the balls to show you what consequences it might have if you continue to ignore forum rules. I don't have high hopes for the latter but anyway it's worth a try...

Is the rule of "thank you" more important than the topic?

@howardsentell you are acting like a noob who does not know basic posting manners. This behavior is highly suspicious. It seems, concerns raised by @owlcatz about you are quite logical.

Where is the freedom of speech?

Will you please stop copy and pasting the internet here and clogging up this board!!  This is an absolute waste of space and time!!  Anybody can click on the Heritage auction results.  This is ridiculous and now 3 topics!  I get that you think you are helping, but you are not!  These 3 topics should be deleted.  Again, stop copy and pasting the internet to this board.

edit:
Still not needed, but at least you combined 5 wasteful topics into 1.  Roll Eyes

edit 2:
Who are we making offers to?  Most of the listing have a "make an offer to the owner of _________ or more."

Again, STOP copy and pasting the internet... a link to the results would be WAY more helpful... still not needed, but better than this.

I would appreciate it if you did not comment on my posts. You don't want to comment and critique every Auction and post that you make. I'm not like the other members; I will not allow you to bully me. You need to respect your elders.
Not bullying... just giving you some honesty.  There is a difference!  As an older human with some actual life experience, you SHOULD know the difference.

This entire topic is not needed.  You started by flooding the board with multiple pages.  You listened to me and got rid of 4 of them that now say delete.  You take part of my advice, then bitch about the rest.  It's quite moronic honestly.

The auctions I host are just that, auctions.  I'm not here trying to reinvent the wheel.  You and Kaz are a HUGE waste of time.  minerjones already did a makers list but I guess Kaz can't see the second pinned topic.  Now you are following your best friend's lead, copy and pasting the internet with things that would be better served with just a link instead of this confusing

This information might help you

I support freedom of speech, but that doesn’t mean it’s okay to be disrespectful or to bully others. If you wouldn’t do something in person, you shouldn’t do it online.

I try to live like the good Samaritan and follow the Golden Rule. I know I can't change the whole internet, but if I can help even one person, I see that as a success.
The problem is in your definition of "helping" one person. To me, it sounds like you want to censor someone. I think I'm usually quite friendly here, but that doesn't mean I don't value the freedom to be unfriendly when someone wants to.

How many of your "bullying" reports have been deleted by Mods?

Thank you for your question. I have had approximately 15+ posts or comments deleted by a guest moderator without an explanation.

I ask the same question: how do these keyboard people manage in real life?
You tell me: you too are one of those "keyboard people".

You're not going to fix the internet or even Bitcointalk by blocking mean people, but you can break it by censoring everything. I'm sure there are many safe heavily censored and moderated forums out there, or you could even start your own where you can dictate exactly what can be said. Just don't expect to find me there Smiley
