Nigerians to start paying tax

So I heard from next year Nigerians will be paying tax,I didn't believe until my dad told me,the president haven't done anything to make the citizens happy instead he brings pain upon us.Bad security,bad road,bad electricity,what have nigerians done,heard the tax rate was 30% but later reduced to 25% which is actually still bad.

This is no longer news in Nigeria we heard about this tax reform from September this year and of a truth the reform  will not help the Masses, it's more of extortion from the citizens, Tinubu has not made any policies that will help Nigerians nor secure Jobs, there has been high level of poverty in the land since his inception as President, killings and banditory that I can't talk of because we hear of the news everyday and the government will in return negotiate with bandits for the release of their victims instead of going after them with all the armory we have.

How will an average Nigerian survive this tax reform?, it' is worrisome because without paying tax the economy has been so difficult and now there will be introduction of tax, how will Nigerians survive next year because the hardship in the country has sent many people to their respective villages because they can no longer afford to pay rents. The Senate should scrap this tax reform that has been presented to them by the president, it won't be of help to Nigerians.

Everyone isn't certain about this tax issue. I heard of 15% before, now OP here is saying 25%. Which ever form, if this is implemented it will have a huge negative effect on the citizen.

Tinubu has not made any policies that will help Nigerians nor secure Jobs, there has been high level of poverty in the land since his inception as President.

What do you expect from him and even the party he comes from? A party that only know how to pass allegations on other but when they are there they do the worse. If na PDP president dey do all this now, they go don talk die. Even this man in question has been part of the problem the country has been having for long. Moreover, APC has always been a stingy party. Check out so many states were they have ruled. They claim to avoid lavish spendings but always enrich there purse while the masses keep suffering. That is the difference between their opposition party(PDP). PDP will embezzle but give some taste of their embezzlement to the masses and this is why the country is most time better during their regime for masses. Although, I'm not saying PDP(there too is full of corrupt and selfish individuals) is good but I see them far better than this. If I'm to say, the two parties are useless for the country but one is still better.

Lolz, who are the senators? Are they not the same set of people that never want the poor to grow rich like them? How many poor man pikin dey senate? These people are mostly bunch of friends showing to be enemy during elections and after election, they dine and wine together on how to enrich themselves with our money. Nigeria is full of highly corrupt and selfish leaders. Is only God that can save this country.

I have few questions for our leaders, this loan we are paying for who used the money?, what is the money used for and in which region did they took the money? Honestly, our government is very wicked, if not what is our concern with the loan they took which we know nothing about, which we are not even the beneficiary of it, honestly something have to be done because the system is trying to kill us. We heard everyday that Nigeria is the one of the richest countries in terms of natural resources, what is happening to those resources and we are seeing people mining it everyday, what is it for? and what are the money used for?

My brother dis tax matter is nothing but true, our presido no get any positive plan for dis country because all dis tax wey e wan collect no be say e go use am to develop di country. Is obvious they can not answer the question, instead of answering they will come up with another different question entirely just to justify there corrupt act.  The wickedness of our leaders is incomparable and they don't even Have conscience if not they would have been able to understand what there corrupt involvement have done to a blessed country like Nigeria. 
Day in day out, people move out of the country to seek a better life for them and there children, when the blessings of God is abundant and even enough to put us ahead of the european countries.

Nigerians has always been paying tax right from the onset, tax is deducted from government workers every month, some private institutions like banks and other businesses tax their staffs too, even bus drivers have the associations were they buy tickets as a way of paying tax too to the government.

The only new thing is that this time the government is taking it more seriously, before now lots of people don’t pay especially some private worker’s and small business owners but with this new tax reform it will be difficult for anyone to default, especially because ones NIN will be used to track the process and France is also involved and trust me they will go any length to ensure they tax everyone.

Am not worried about the tax reform my only concern is if the money realized will be used judiciously to the benefit of Nigerians.

It is very hard to support any new tax reform when the average Nigerian is already stretched thin and nothing is working in the country. You will wake up to bad roads, unstable power, insecurity, and still have to fend for yourself on top almost everything. In that kind of reality, talking about higher taxes just feels insensitive, like the government keeps asking citizens to give more while they give nothing back aside from bad leaderships and debts from all the loans they take. Before increasing or enforcing taxes, there should have been visible effort to fix the basics and restore trust first, because right now it just feels like we are being punished for problems we didn’t create.

We don't have a National Assembly that will oppose the president oon this tax law because they are Rubber stamp. I' m begining to imagine how life next year will look due to the tax law under this administration. I want to remind you on what happened through the cashless policy during last regime, you know before then they were not taxes or even bank charges and farmers don't associate with banks, with the new policy now so many people will run away from banks and try to store their cash at home. It is very dangerous for a banks to lack cash, and if farmers decided to store their money at home, definitely there will be less cash in circulation. When it's occur the Federal Government will went ahead to print more cash and honestly that will cause inflection.

As regard to our national assembly they are bird of the same feather, they eat all the money together which I believe they are not doing anything. We the masses have to stand firmly, we pray and we should defend ourselves.

From what I have notified this tax of a thing is just to fuel the pocket of the Nigerian government because tax is mostly paid in those foreign countries that have limited (little) mineral resources as their government need more money to provide for their citizens security and other necessary things. But when it comes to Nigeria what do we need to pay tax for? We have a lot of resources that can sustain 90% of the citizens but the government only focus on crude oil. What about the gold we have? To cut long story short, what do we need to pay tax for, that's just my question.
