I have tried 2 or 3 clean installs and all the same.  Wallet doesn't load.  Using latest win10 and have no problems with other wallets.  Suggest from the readings here and on Discord there is a bug in the startup.  Tried running as Administrator with the same result stuck on the loading screen.   Seems to unpack ok and allows for selection of where to store data etc, but no cli file and the gui doesn't work.

I have tried everything that I can to get my wallet to load again but nothing is working and like I have said many times before, I am using the Solaris wallet which is the same as the new AMS wallet and it is working perfectly and never had any problems with it so far. There must be a bug like you said in the start up of the AMS wallet and this needs to be looked into by the dev.

Would it be possible to post or PM me the log file? It a file called node.txt which is located in the log directory of the data directory. Thanks in advance!

There is no 'node txt or debug log as the program never loads far enough to create a log.  Appears to go to a single src or image after timing out.

What was the problem?
The old blockchain stalled because masternode payments were enforced while there was no masternode active in the network. All proof of stake blocks were rejected and the chain got stuck for about 4 days.

How did you solve it?
I started the wallet using the spork key which allowed me to disable the enforcement of masternode payments. With a modified wallet I was able to create a new block through proof of stake. After that, all available nodes started staking again and the blockchain is rolling again.

What about missing swaps?
All missing swaps should be paid automatically by the swap service on Txbit Exchange. If this is not the case for you then let me know. Just drop me a PM here on the forum, or create a support ticket on Txbit Exchange.

Could you also provide a guide about how we can use the cold staking feature?

Second time it happens to me, and deleting the folder /var/tmp/.net/ make it work again

I have most of the program on my D drive and the logs & blob-storage on the C drive in roaming.  The logs are empty.  The Daemon starts and closes with no output.  Appears as though the opening screen is caught in a loop from the start.

I was able to run the wallet by uninstalling and reinstalling about 2 weeks ago.
Today I updated Win10 and I couldn't restart the wallet after restarting the system.

CMD returned this. "The application to execute does not exist: 'C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Local\Temp\.net\Stratis.AmsterdamCoinD\h3v3mkud.psh\Stratis.AmsterdamCoinD.dll'."

Stratis.Amsterdamcoind.exe is in the folder, by the way.

I also sent a pm with part of my log files to you.

I don't know if it is windows that's the problem but I was trying for weeks and nothing but now the wallet loads again.

Tried to open same result.  Stuck on opening page.  Deleted all for a fresh install same thing.  So no AMS at the present time.  Too lazy to look any further for a solution.

I found my working installation didn't start after an update and a restart.

Interesting, there is no AmsterdamCoinNode folder in the clean install.  Did a full pc search & there is no such folder.

I use CCleaner application to clean cache, cookie and registry my windows pc, restrart pc and AMS wallet loading again. I cut amsterdamcoin and amsterdamcoinnode folder, after clean my pc with ccleaner i restore that folder

I did do fresh install a few weeks ago but then just gave up on it until the next windows update and thought that I would give it a try and for some reason the wallet loaded up for me. I'm really not sure what is the problem with the wallet but it does seem that it could have something to do with AMS and windows.

Gentlemen, I noticed that the AMS v5 wallet is better at synchronizing and connecting
with more nodes, as in Router we will set our IP address in the DMZ zone.

You can check your address in the console by entering:

ipconfig/all

and it will be the address with the information "Preferred".

I see that Solaris has a new wallet update which makes it easier for recovering staked coins so I just wonder if Kees is working on a AMS wallet update which has the same feature. My wallet seems to be staking well and I hope that it continues to do so when the next windows update comes along.
