for those that lost out due to polo...dont worry, XRP will be worth more than what you paid for it  

$1 is too much given the Supply.

IF demand from more banks (BOE, using it in poc stage right now, aug 2017 could go mainstream) to move trillions of $$ through XRP instead of swift and western union
because it is faster, cheaper , more secure for fiat and allows digital assets( crypto ) to flow from ledger to ledger almost instantly, of course $1 will be reached and thats a minimum.

I am already cool at the moment. My average buy price is 1673s. But I wonder, when the price will recover. Just a little worried about, how strong the loss in trust is, because of the incident yesterday on polo. Lots of people lost a lot of money... thats frighten.
And I am just a little sad about a mistake I made yesterday:
Sold my XEM and ARDR to jump on the train after the first big plunge. Bought at 5.2k. After that the price went down, down, down...
Didn't sell some XRP, because the price is to low. Watched instead a rising XEM and ARDR...
But:
I am a fresh player and small mistakes are ok. They'll make me learn, I hope, to control my emotions and the greedy half of my brain.

The point is though that with every Ripple transaction XRP supply will be burnt. So over time the supply will match the other coins and the value will increase as Ripple gets used. And who has more money than the banks to burn XRP with Ripple transactions with? And all the biggest banks in the world are on board right now with their logos even right on the Ripple website. That XRP supply is high for a reason and its going to shrink considerably and possibly very quickly with the amount of money the banks have.

XRP is not required to transact on Ripple. Many banks using Ripple and Interledger choose their own token to bridge with currencies. If a bank wants to use XRP as a bridge currency, the value of each XRP is discretionary. If anything, these huge pump and dumps of XRP will keep banks away from choosing the optional token. This is not FUD.

 People thinking of getting into XRP as a speculative asset should go to Ripple.com and thoroughly read about it. Ripple Labs is not hyping their own XRP token, quite the opposite in fact.
