Hi, I'm a cell biologist. I am interested in Bitcoin trading markets, and I would like to join the discussion on automated trading bots.

Awaiting.. approval to actually talk about something interesting...

Why does this forum display hundreds of page links in the footer of pages? Can I change that with a setting?

Grin  Hey noobs.  I'm Bit Coinsky from bitcoinsky.com.  The Internet was revolutionary.  Then YouTube/Facebook/Twitter.  Now there's Bitcoin.   In the last 24hrs, BTC jumped from $94 to $105!  The is great and for those whose already hold bitcoins...but what about the rest of us?
BTC reminds me of Gresham's Law....people are speculating/hoarding BTC...not actually spending it!

???I feel that gresham's law will put a hamper on bitcoin's ability to function as currency.  What do you think?

Hello, my name is Meerkat and I've been interested in Bitcoins since a friend of mine told me of them a year ago. I have now taken the initiative to invest in the currency as I have little faith in the value of the USD.

Hello guys,

I've been lurking this board for a while. Looking for a web dev to start a business with.
I'm doing a lot of Django, jQuery development myself but I'm lacking skills in the design department.

Send a PM to me if you're interested.

Greetings to all,

I am 26 year old male from Canada who has been involved and invested in bitcoin for a little over a year. I got involved because i am a computer enthusiast and heard about people making money with computers... how far i have come since then. I do this not for the profit anymore but for what the bitcoin community represent for the global community. It's an alternative currency when we all desperately need distance ourselves from tyrannical run fiat currencies. Just wanted to say, I have thought since i started that bitcoin was the next big thing. Just wish i had purchased more bitcoins when they were at 8$ per Tongue but i can say i have made believers of my friends and family and i think that is where it starts.

When I learned about Bitcoin over a year ago, I found it interesting. But it seemed a little bit too high to grasp for me. But now that I've found this Bitcoin software wallet and GUIminer which made it a bit more accessible to me. The problem is I can't concentrate enough to read trough all the lengthy, seemingly, high tech jargon, which is kind of Chinese to me, to get things working and GUIminer I just had to unzip. So now I'm mining, just for fun. Probably costs me more then I'll ever gain at 13,9 Mhash/s. But I'm just curious.
Meanwhile I learned about Litecoin too. But installing mining software for this currency seems so difficult to me. Well, I'm not that computer savvy and it seems so complex, regrettably. If there'd be some sort of GUIminer for Litecoin, I sure would give it a try.
But, I respect how a lot of you are so in to this. Investing in cards, other hardware and stuff. Talking about commitment.

Amazing watching BTC go up relentlessly.  I think it's actually better that it's not tied to an asset because there is nothing to anchor the price - ie. it can go up forever (theoretically).  At some point, though the tide will turn and holders will take profits which may escalate into a big slide down, also without brakes.  So enjoy the moment.  I am!

Greetings and Salutations,

I am a Newbie bitcoin, California Solo Miner.  LOL!

Just started using "Litecoin" and "Reaper" today.

Getting around 1.5GH/s to 1.46GH/s off my one video card.
Is that good?

I am still a bit confused on the whole process.  Is there a Dumb/Stupid/Newbie extreme edition set by set on how to solo mine.  Because I have no idea what in the world I am doing.  Feeling really dumb here.

Thank you for your time from,
Vital
