I like the restrictions. The only way to keep the board from getting contaminated. Bitcoin information flow must be protected!
By the way, I saw bitcoin car stickers on eBay!!! This would go a long way towards raising general awareness...

I have spent hours on these forums over last few weeks - just never bothered to create a username and login. Not that I wanna post something I just found out about these restrictions. Wish I knew about it before.

wow - I just realized that it is more challenging than I thought to convince yourself to write 5 completely useless newbie msgs. Maybe it is an effective filter to keep out people who are not used to writing nonesense posts and attract only the trolls...  |

I guess this is the part where I say that this is sensible and get credit for one of my posts.
In general, I'm not a huge fan of forums, but as BTC is such a nascent thing, the forums here are one of the only places I can connect up to other users.
Am I missing something, or are Newbies also restricted from sending PMs?
