I can imagine C&C laughing as they read the description of this coin already:

https://asktom.cf/index.php?topic=592251.0

that looks like an easy target with an up to 16x speed advantage over any AMD miners that may eventually pop up.
(because in the AMD miners no one ever bothered trying to resolve the path divergence, like we did)

However if it remains a crapcoin with no value and no notable exchanges, then why invest any effort...

The coin's developer is phm (but he's not the person behind the roulettecoin account and the thread). Phm usually
creates GPU miners. And he's claiming performance will be worse than CPU miners. Quick, someone order him a
book about parallel computing and stream compaction algorithms. Wink

Thanks for giving the address. Can you also provide a GRS address as liomojo1 is hell bent on giving his share to you. Also, can you suggest a good pool for myr-groestl algo?

anybody knows who is doing 128MHash/s on jackpotcoin cloudminer ?

Its about 270Mhs already. Who knows, its definitively some medium whale with a farm, probably AMD because I haven't seen anyone with nVidia farm at that size. But who knows  Grin, maybe some big guys who recognizes the potential of nVidia in mining race and he has built a farm already. 270Mhs is around 100x750Tis, the whole farm is merely < 20k Euro if you compare to some whale who invested > 100k in mining equipment. But anyway we are welcome this because that means the coin got some attention.

This coin sound like a lot of gambling for such high investment.
Hopefully, he won't stay long on this coin  Grin

meanwhile, my 130euro investment just arrived  Grin Will be the occasion to remove all the dust which has accumulated in the case since two months...

According to normal logic it is risky, but in crypto everything is already risky as well. Maybe the whale sees a potential for this coin or he's trying to mine one day and dump all of his coin for 0.5BTC and runs for the next coin. With every coin sucking right now this coin is ATM the most profitable coin so I don't see why don't give it a try.

wonder if it isn't a cpu farm that would explain the factor 2 increase (with the new cpu miner).

Installed the 750ti, didn't went as smooth as I expected (the computer refused at first to boot with the new card... had to remove the amd) even then the card wasn't detected properly (I had to try to install the pilot from the CD and strangely ended up with the latest driver already installed on the computer and used by the 780ti...).
Everything seems to work now...
The afterburner graphics are a total mess with clock/temp of the different cards scattered in a totally random arrangement all over the place(is there a way to fix this ? Won't ask the afterburner developer, he will tell me it's my problem not his Grin)

Sorry to hear about your problems. Trust me on the over clocking though, ditch afterburner and get nvidia inspector. More professional (simple, not flashy and G4M3R) UI and you don't even have to run a process if you don't want to once you set the clocks. I personally have a few presets I've made for various algos and simply double click the shortcut I want depending on what I'm mining

It will get shared between the pool members... (if it exists... how is it assigned ? Is it just assigned randomly to some block number ?)

+1  Grin nvdia inspector rules.
yes but, afterburner takes care of the fans (I use the custom fan curve) and I want to see the graphics for several variables
(tdp, gpu usage, etc...)
Does nvidia inspector does that ? (and I have also a R9-290x on my system...)

13GHash/s on jackpot  Shocked For a coin which isn't on any major exchange ?

Their calculation is off by a factor of about 8 Smiley when it said 8gh/s it was actually only 1
but it is still huge (and it is a factor 2 increase since this morning)  all that for a coin with less than 0.3BTC buy order.
Actually, I am wondering why I keep running on it (very addictive this product... ) Grin

I know. It seems mad but people want that jackpot. Its exactly like gambling. Risk it all for the possibility of a big pay off.
Right now the buying market is going up. i would need to mine 22.6m JPC to pay off one gtx 750Ti

right now the jackpot would pat off 2 cards by itself. To mine and break even on a card each month following buying demand stays the same i would need to mine 750k JPC a day
