So even though silver reached 79 and wants to do 80 the ebay sales are a bit slow.

I had 42 sets of silver to sell. about 24-25k

I sold 33 sets and have 9 to sell.

Now that Trump will be shooting for Greenland next I see gold silver and btc doing strong rallies.

USA will be a Russia like country taking over territory.

I think he is going to grab Greenland for sure.

USA and Russia will attempt to melt the ICE of the world bigly.

Still trying to get my wife to move to  higher ground.

As they may manage to melt enough to flood me out where I live now.

Maybe just maybe this is the way to fully break the four year cycle . We watch silver grow 2.1trillion in 128 days.

I think we will see a large btc move similar to silver’s growth.

I mean why would they not? Who is going to stop the USA, the Danes?  Grin

Is this an actual theory?

I think we will see a large btc move similar to silver’s growth.
Blackrock is in favor of this theory. Soon I hope.

Won't be shocked if Bitcoin print a red candle below $90k when U.S market opens.

Next week U.S senate will finalize crypto bill.

Lot's of money waiting to enter.

Hmm....
Didn't happen.
Market anticipation?
Makes me feel bullish. Or better: Keeps me being bullish.

I sort of think that the United States taking a World War II economic approach is bullish for markets.  I didn't expect we would start threatening to invade other countries to steal their natural resources.  If the United States can avoid being attacked or getting tied up in ongoing wars, this new direction could be very positive for those with appreciating assets.  As long as we live to see it.

Yeah silver gold btc real estate all high and we go to a real war with a real attack with bigly bombing and ohhhhh shit.

Well that is one advantage of being just about 69 years old with okay money vs being 39 years old with really good money.

I have less to lose if we go tits up

This is actually a fundamental truth without which Bitcoin (and anything else that depends on asymmetric keypair cryptography) wouldn't work at all.

None of us have enough time.

But that's enough of that, too much of that sort of talk, and my tingles could go away.

Tree houses are good. It is best to have solid support from the tree. 🌴

I would prefer the house to be over 16 feet from the ground.

Do you get the feeling that people generally prefer paper silver?

stole this post about core 30.x and legacy wallet migration bug.. nothing like blowing your old wallets away whilst importing them..

careful with your nodes folks

FYI:

NOTICE: Wallet Migration bug present in Bitcoin Core wallet 30.0 & 30.1.

Under rare circumstances, migrating a legacy (BDB) wallet can delete all wallet files on the same node. If those wallets aren’t backed up, this can result in a loss of funds.

A fix will become available in Bitcoin Core 30.2. Until that is released, do not migrate legacy wallets using 30.0 or 30.1.

Only the legacy wallet migration process is affected. All other uses are unaffected. You can continue using Bitcoin Core normally, including existing wallets and running a node without wallets.

A great number of the developers who call themselves part of Bitcoin core (but not all thank goodness.)  flaunted their hubris online and across stages claiming that normal people couldn't understand how they are able to work through all the possible game theory necessary to understand that changes that they were making were safe.

I would expect those same people to read what I just wrote and come back with something like, "Well achualllly, this bug has nothing to do with the thing you're talking about! Ha!"

And that would be the exact same arrogant myopathy that led them to take that stand in the first place.

I don't run Core 30.  Not yet. And certainly not now.

Please do not put me in some black and white frame where you accuse me of being a "retard" on one side or the other of an argument. I am not.  I am a much more balanced and nuanced retard who's lived long enough to know that when you play stupid games you win stupid prizes.

But yes indeed, be careful with your corn and of course everyone should have backups.

Having recently driven through a forest where a good number of trees had been blown over by a strong wind, I would question that. Hills much superior in my experience. Unless you're an Ewok.

I don't run Core 30.  Not yet. And certainly not now.

I'm in the "non-mining nodes are irrelevant" camp and gave up running one a long time ago. I'd run one if I needed to to publish my transactions but that's not been necessary so far and as long as you have control of your keys, that's the primary consideration.

Damn scary shit! Shocked  I'm glad I don't have to deal with it... Cheesy

Almost as if it was written specifically for your narrative.

it's beyond me why WO'ers interact with him.

He doesn't care much about Bitcoin and its properties and doesn't seem to be interested in learning either... he's all about $ and not BTC

Well, I can see why they do... some of them do it reflexively because they feel as if he's attacking the reasons that they go to the trouble of holding their own keys, for example.

Others, I would be in this group, feel bad for him that he obviously doesn't understand what makes Bitcoin important in the first place.  That it would not have value at all were it not for the people in this thread and the millions of those like us.

And when he makes statements like the one he just did he hits both groups of those people. Those who want to defend themselves for doing one of the most intelligent, wise acts of foresight that will exist in our lives.  As well as those who may even be beginning to wonder at this point, if the whole thing is not just an op.

That's a little paranoid, but the more variables that are removed from the equation, the more that is one of the only possible reasons for it.  In that scenario, they do not seem to have sent their best.

I agree with your stance on this in part, but adding to the blockchain and the security of the network is not the only reason to run a node.  And just because a non-mining node could be a sybil doesn't mean it is one. nor does it mean the person running that node does not contribute to their own sovereignty as well as the consensus of the rules on which all nodes operate.  But obviously this is a can of worms with which we've selected our favorite worms and are sitting down for dinner right now, so I see no reason to belabor it much.

I will say I have a wide-eyed idealistic feeling about projects like the bitaxe and other ways that we will see mining decentralize.

I'm just saying, if and when the time comes, this one is better. It'll make you feel like a younger man.

Is this an exciting new version of the $5 wrench attack? If so, it leaves the question to be answered of… What is it called? The rusty prostate attack? Massaging people’s keys away?
