All I want to know is that will the sent coins ever be credited to my account? if yes when.

If the coins were sent through segwit, the coins will not come.

Either wait for the activation of the segwit and send the coins again.

What? His account has already been debited and mine not credited. Since you said there is a function to return it, kindly tell the the function so that I return it to him. My own wallet address starts with 3 and his newly updated wallet starts with 1. Just yesterday he sent another one and I received it but the first coins ever sent were hooked by the wallet.

Please tell me the steps to do return the hung coins back to him and him return it back to me via his newly updated wallet.

Or did you mean it is after activation of segwit that I can be able to return the missing coins back to him again? And he can later re-send back to me?

It is too early to predict which coin will be best in 2018. But in my opinion, etherum will be the best coin this year.

yes, it's right because nobody know this coin and it's not worth investing . If it's valuable then many people are possible to buy it as well and some exchanges will list it on trading. That's why many people aren't interested in this project.
