Zcoin is one of my favorite projects. My only complaint is, it’s just not lite enough. I need transactions moving immediately in high volumes. I still believe in this coin and this is a evolutionary process. I haven’t used it in a while, but other than that, I think it’s the best privacy coin out there

Altcoin best to be invested in the year 2018 is Ethereum, Waves, and Litecoin. These three coins are just suggestions from me and this is what I think is very good. But the rest depends on yourself in choosing some of the best Altcoin.

I think the best coins to invest in 2018 would be Litecoin, Monero.
Litecoin is considered as silver to bitcoin's gold. The coin currently has a market capital of $8 billion. It allows us to make transactions which are four times faster than bitcoin. Also since Segwit activation, the transactions have improved. After gaining acceptance from CoinBase, the coin's market value has seen a huge boost.
Similarly, Monero is the best privacy coin out there. Its ring signature makes transactions untraceable as well. The information of the sender and reciever is kept private.  Also, it has one of the best development teams behind it. Hence, it has a good coin and you can expect good returns from it.

there are many good altcoins in the market but the best altcoin to invest in this year 2018 is  the etherium. the value of ETH now is still in good condition and it's popularity in the market.
