Friday, July 13th, 2018 marks the release of the latest version of IAGON’s MVP (Miner Application Preview) for distributed computing, version v2.0.0-alpha. The IAGON MVP will provide distributed storage between online users and storage nodes(miners). When using IAGON’s Platform and Grid, users can upload files, while miner software (desktop application) is used to control localized storage and serves as a node on the network.

On this new and improved version, we have made a few improvements, including support for distributed processing using Docker on the Intranet. Additionally, there have been several necessary bug fixes have been executed, along with improvements made to the overall performance and an updated User Interface.

How Bancor’s Experience Differs
Earlier in the week, it was revealed that Israeli-based, decentralized cryptocurrency exchange — Bancor, was under attack in what proved to be a $13.5 million dollar heist. As reported by Cointelegraph, the individual’s or individuals responsible for hacking into Bancors systems, managed to get away with about $12.5 million in pilfered Ethereum, while $1 million in Pundi X (NPXS) tokens were also stolen.

I also have listened this audio interview few minutes ago. There have been discussed and pointed out few very important thing which this industry based on blockchain needs the most. Next generation's cloud system's importance and role will increase instead of having stop somewhere. Iagon's concept is different than others which makes it very attractive for those understanding the idea itself.

IAGON decided to take a different and better approach by using a “Proof of Variance” mechanism. The Proof of Variance essentially classifies each miner based on their contribution into a pool, allowing miners within the same pool to compete which each other. Miners from lower pools get upgraded or downgraded based on several factors but the two main factors are speed and amount of data that they are able to handle. This mechanism uses a combination of algebraic theory and probability functions to compute a miners contribution and determine which pool they can be classified under. This allows newer miners to profit from mining data while increasing their processing assets. It also allows miners who invest more to receive an immediate return on their investment. I think very beneficial for miners

Just found this: IAGON will provide a fully automated platform for carrying out the storage and processing tasks of users on the basis of unutilized storage and processing capacities that are contributed by the “miners”. The miners will be able to convert the tokens back to fiat money, to accumulate them or to pay for similar services that they need with the tokens. For each transaction, IAGON will charge 10% commission and the rest of the tokens will be transferred to the miner. if it is really like this, very cool
