Probably no one can correctly answer this question, just for one reason, because there is simply no right answer, no one can tell you about this decision, because there is always a risk that you will not be paid anything

Well, you cannot pick the best all the time. If you could ,there's too many signature campaign to choose to, but i can share some of my own criteria when looking for sig camp,1st is the whitepaper,website,mission ,2nd allocation and 3rd campaign manager.

first of all, I don't like long bounty campaigns, if I see that bounty campaign will last a very long time, then I will not take part in it. And of course I am looking for the project, I will not join a bad ico, because it could be a scam

What criteria do you guys use to pick your signature campaigns.  With some of them lasting 2-3 months it seems like a critical decision and I'm not quite sure how to go about it.  With all the scams out there I am fearful of picking a junker which not only hurts me but the people looking at my promotions.  I would like to have one picked out for when I switch over to Jr Member.

If you need to get good profit from signature campaigns you have to rank up. Jr member also good. But it can't give you big profit. After becoming Jr.member don't try to go up fast... Some of the signature campaigns are also good for the Jr.members... I usually try to attend long-term campaigns and I try to find signature campaigns with small stakes divides.  because of there is good chance to get a good amount of rewards. If there are less members on the signature campaign I choose them even it short term.
for the find good bounty campaigns, you have to do your own research. following points are important
   - Project idea
   - Project team and advisors (should be experts on the project idea.)
   - Website and their working products
              (If they had professional grade website with high traffic and If they already have a good working product, those campaigns are good)
   - Project popularity
   - ICO ratings on the internet
   - Project roadmap

I think above points are enough for filter out scams.

I would recommend paying attention to the number of participants in the signature campaign, as well as for of its duration and of course it should instill confidence in you, all the rest is a risk!

Do your own research and read the whitepaper. Check the ICO ranking sites and any info you can find on a good use case for the token/coin. I personally prefer an ICO that lasts 3 months or longer. I look at the bounty pool and the amount of stakes per BCT rank.

Look for these factors,the team,product,roadmap,does it make sense if these project are going to be in the blockchain? team profiles are real or they are hiding with fake profiles? because you should know them first so that they wont scam people just like most of the ICOs are doing stealing money whenever they have enough money,credibility of the people behind the project would be the first priority.

Choosing a signature campaign is similar to investing in bounty only you invest your time, not money. Try to analyze the project and data about the founders and developers.

I choose a Bounty campaign for the following items:
1) I see how much percentage is allocated to the Bounty campaign;
2) I see how long the bowing campaign lasts;
3) I also look like a website design company;
4) be sure to review the terms and conditions of the campaign.
If all these items fit, then I'm taking part in such a campaign!!!

Usually the long campaigns are the ones that have a chance to get bear the hard cap. This means more money for the bounty and of course more money in your pocket.

I don't fully agree with you. Yes, for most of campaigns you cannot tell if it is going to be good or not. But for some it is easy to see that it is going to be garbage from the get go.

It is true that if you pick the scam ICO you will waste the 2-3 months of time you have been promoting the campaign by have their campaign signature with you. And that is why you should invest ib research to check if the ICO is worth your time. It would not hurt checking out their website, whitepaper, social media page and their twlegram group. If all if this has a good responce then their is a high probability that the ICO is good.

You need to be a Jr.member to participate in most signature campaign, I will advice you to focus on building up your account rank before discussing a signature campaigns. Newsletter and likes of social media campaign you can start with. There are many criteria to consider when choosing a good project, one of which is to see the project manager, the project bounty team

I just started with this so maybe it turns out I'm completely wrong here... but what I looked for was the following:

*Good project idea
*Enough people intrested in the project
*Good team
*Good bounty manager
*Enough funds distrubuted to bounty hunters

So basicly the same stuff I look for in an ICO except for the bounty part.
better add on this is the UNIQUENESS OF THE PROJECT thiis one of the most important thing about every ico project must have,copycat is most what is going now thats why they become shitcoins when comes to market,and the MANAGER like mate said is important because reliable managers wont let his name at stakes when scams are indeed

I am only participating on bounty campaigns that are being managed by veteran bounty campaign managers that knows how to handle and manage the participants and they know how to check them accordingly. I am trying to work same bounty managers, there are some reliable ones. But the team and their social activities and the project are important factors for bounty campaigns
