Crystal Palace still won't be comfortable if Everton win tonight.

I meant Palace will be very happy with a draw so both teams drop 2 points and lose ground on them. With how they are playing, I think Palace has what it takes to put some daylight between them and the bottom 3, if they can find their form of the second half of last season, then they will be fighting for a top half finish.

It would be crazy if Chelsea were held to a draw by Southampton... but the likelihood of Chelsea winning given current form is promising.

It is funny that I expected Liverpool to struggle against Southampton but expect Chelsea to win them easy. Could be the Arsenal fan in me half hoping they slip up and we gain some ground, but I had a feeling that would not be an easy visit.

If it was the old Southampton, I would be concerned, but not the current Southampton. This is a nice game to statpad goals while rotating the players to manage the busy December game schedules.

I bet most people have their money on Liverpool tonight. Everyone expecting them to win against Newcastle for sure especially after they won against Manchester City but currently its 1st half and Newcastle lead with 1 goal. Meanwhile Chelsea has the game on their bag already, currently 1-3 but Southampton got red carded so surely its 3 point for Chelsea

I don't expect much from Manutd, but if they can get a draw, it would be great.

The score was still 1-1 but Liverpool had a couple of good chances but Nunez missed them, damn it.

Southampton are a losing team plus they have a red card in defense this makes it free for Chelsea to continue to attack, easy for Chelsea to win.

Liverpool have gone behind twice and equalized twice, I will not be surprised if they still find a way to win it. That is secondary now as we are still struggling to get going against United. The game is just idling by and first half is gone now with no real momentum, something needs to change if we are to take something from this game.

Watching the games on double screens, the Arsenal-Manchester United game appears to be a potential 0-0 draw, with no real threat other than 22 players rolling the ball back and forth, hoping to score from set pieces and corner kicks. I'm surprised Arteta didn't make any changes, with the exception of Gabriel, who is unavailable.

That most likely is the reason he is supporting the club.

Don't rule them out yet, the league is still open Ipwish Town could do a Leicester from the back and nap the title from Liverpool

Liverpool have taken the lead now, so we definitely have to win this one. It really is a mind puzzle how Salah is not getting multiple contract offers from the management, he is quite something.

Don't rule them out yet, the league is still open Ipwish Town could do a Leicester from the back and nap the title from Liverpool 

I do not think such a story can happen in the EPL anymore.

After all, Amorin has overhauled by replacing 4 players, while Arteta is still comfortable with the existing players, it is clear that the Gooners will win.

Liverpool have taken the lead now, so we definitely have to win this one.

Disappointed with Kelleher he did not brush off the ball but instead let it go, maybe he thought there were no Newcastle players behind but it was better to brush off, and this was his own fault Liverpool had to end up with a draw.

Have not seen the goal yet, but I am glad whichever way it went in. Lead is cut down to 7 points and more importantly there is a little derail in the Liverpool train.

It was also good to see Everton win by such a healthy margin, it sets up the game against Liverpool really nice.

Biggest surprise of the day for me was amazing match Newcastle vs Liverpool, that was importnat point for home team with goal scored  in 90 minute.
I lost my bet against Man City, they finally won a match without conceding, but lets see if they can keep wining in next matches.

Well we cannot expect much from Man Utd this season with this team. They were going up against Arsenal that is going for the title and honestly with the current team that Man Utd has its for the middle of the table. I dropped some important points with that late goal from Newcastle so this makes another bad round for me and my hopes are going down for this season sadly

I think Liverpool still probably is the best team to win, but its nice always to see a good competition from all the rivals. IIRC the last time Liverpool won it was something like 20 points gap and they played their last 5 or 6 games with B squad (can't blame them).

The 7-point difference is still quite comfortable for Liverpool and this draw does not diminish their play.

I think we were too excited for the last several weeks and a break is well deserved. It was a good match, high scoring. Salah was excellent as usual but bad luck for the entire team. Caoimhin should have catch the ball from that free kick that went over him and Anthony scored.

Erik ten Hag ruined them this season, so now Ruben Amorim is trying to repair what he can and I heard they are looking to buy some new players.

Still a good match, agreed. I know we're seeing vintage Salah all season, but I did miss his brilliance and footwork of the Mane/Bobby era... but the second half vs Newcastle? That's the best 40 minutes I've seen of Mo since that crazy goal vs City.

Kelleher's been so good too we forget (not I, anyway) that he's still actually not as instinctively good as Alisson.

I don’t know what the hell Kelleher was doing. He did the same thing against Aston Villa but got away with it then. Just catch the ball and lie on it for 5-6 seconds. He’s cost us the win there, ridiculous. Alisson is back in a couple of weeks, he will go straight into the XI after that. Nunez is just as culpable, can’t wait until we get a proper number 9, that guy is useless. We have to win on Saturday now, can’t afford to drop points again.

Salah contract is extend and keep your 350k/yr or no contract - Liverpool management priority is to keep Trent and Van Dijk, Salah current salary makes it difficult situation. Liverpool don't value key players - they treat them like trash always.

We're coming for Kelleher next summer, dude deserves better, he's been an absolutely good cover for Allison since last season but guys can't see it and for Nunez only buwaytress think he's world-class.

Kelleher is already a top keeper, I wouldn't mind him as our long-term no.1.
Will not happen of course after we signed that Georgian dude with an impossible name to write. Helooked great during the EUROs though.

Kelleher made a mistake, it could cost us, but he's been brilliant every time he needed to step up. Whoever gets him is getting a bargain.
