The IRC channel is rather empty :-)
True, but we are pretty sure everyone will panic few hours before the coin launch so we established this channel to make sure our users will have a way to contact us on the D-Day

I'm currently available on IRC and will try to stay here 24/7 until coin launch. The 2 other devs of the team will introduce themselves soon to answer your questions We updated our main post to provide the timezone of the launch time to make it easier for everyone Countdown is still available on our website. We would like to thank the 6 investors of the first IPCO stage, the total invested amount is now 4.41 BTC, 1 day and 20 hours left before the end of the stage

Just had a nice chat with one of the devs on IRC. Freily will launch a P2Pool node together with the coin. I also will publish the necessary code changes to Github after I verified the node is working so that other people will be able to join the P2Pool network. P2Pool (1% fee) will be up here: http://stack.freily.com:9922/If you want to mine on it just use an address of your own as username, password doesn't matter. Example: cgminer --scrypt -o http://stack.freily.com:9922 -u <address> -p x * No registration required!* Your payout goes immediately to your wallet after the block drops, the confirmations will happen there Incidentally, for people behind a proxy at work who want to check up on the pool, you can do so by using the HTTP port (don't use it for cgminer!) http://stack.freily.comAgain, the node will only come up after the wallet release (since it requires knowledge out of the source code) so it is down until then.

From the Reddcoin website : "Reddcoin will be dedicated to one thing: tipping on social networks as a way to bring cryptocurrency to the general public."
We are not here to talk about them, but this has nothing to do with StackCoin. Our point of view is described in our post and our website. What we focus on is the coin concept : A "short term" coin (relative to other cryptos indeed, we rely on 5 years of living) that will create a more dynamic market. This coin is made to be a currency and being actively exchanged, StackCoin is all about this: Business. We don't want to impose ourselves as a so-called "great cause". what happens after 5 years?

We think the coin will probably die, as everything should have been mined by this time. From a realistic point of view, 5 years of living would be really great regarding the number of new altcoins

When you invest in a coin, are you doing it to hold them over many years ? We think here that many people don't, and just want to make money quickly. We can't have a fast decrease rate and a long life at the same time. 5 years in a living is a long time, remember that Bitcoin itself have only 5 years of living, and Litecoin less than 3 years

Stage 1 investors only get coins from stage 1, but this stage is the one that reward the most. 4 billions coins will be shared investors of stage 1. 2.72 billions coins will be shared by investors of stage 2.

What are your plans about getting Stackcoin added to exchange. I would suggest Cryptorush.in it's 0.25 BTC to get your coin on the exchange.

We contacted them, we are currently waiting for an answer Feel free to suggest other ideas ! That's good but I don't see any stackcoin signature on this forum at least giveaways are banned but you can still host signature ad for the upcoming launch and give participants free Stackcoin maybe 5k-10k for them to display the ad until launch and is there any announcement in other languages posted.
