I got my GS blade running on CGminer,it has the hashrate incorrect,BUT in my multipool account its correct, all that matters to me is that the pool see's it It was abit finicky about starting both blades, had to keep dropping the MHz from 850 (little seeds like that speed) down to 750 which now works great!! Found that out after several hours of R & D BTW,don't forget, broken blades can be bought on ebay for cheap.....then buy one from you & claim DOA,rinse repeat,refund.....you got working blades. Not saying this is what happened,BUT could be a scenario. AFAIK the ID # for any GS product is seen only via the mining software,so you got to test & write the ID's down before shipping & check when/if returned. Good luck!! Yeah this can be done which is why zoom hash needs to check its serial numbers. yeah I found 750 or 800 freq is good not 850. and this fan is a good replacement fan . http://www.rakuten.com/pr/product.aspx?sku=214874357along with this fan controller http://www.rakuten.com/prod/silenx-ixafcex-four-channel-external-fan-controlle/204697731.htmlthey run cool and much quieter . I have decided no gear of any kind for mining is better then this is at the correct price (500-550usd)----many reasons including low power draw of 80-85 watts a blade if you use a plat psu. I use pcie to dc plug adapters. 3 to a pcie jack I use a plat power supply I get about 5mh-5.2mh a blade at 82 watts. really just about the best deal there is if you can buy these at 500-550usd. BTW I order a seventh one today. I am running 5 and have two more coming. please ship fast!!!

Here are my conclusions: - purchased 1800 dollars worth of hardware.
- in less than 60 days - one of the blades actually died from burning out the ferrite bead
- the other 3 blades (I have two units) no do not work for whatever reason. [no matter which psu i use they refuse to load up like there is no power]
- ZH tells me " no warranty - no refurbished units available " just a discount for new merchandise since my 'new' merchandise happened to fail just after the warranty period.
Take your own conclusions from my experience.

Take your own conclusions from my experience. I am doing well with 5 units I had a replaced as it was 1 good board 1 slow board. So I handled 12 boards 11 good one slow. I have to say this I use a seasonic platinum psu very high quality power. http://www.amazon.com/SeaSonic-ATX12V-Platinum-PLATINUM-1200-SS-1200XP3/dp/B00JG5LSN8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403654789&sr=8-1&keywords=seasonic+platinum+1200 I use pcie to dc jack cables very high quality . https://asktom.cf/index.php?topic=74397.msg6783806#msg6783806 I run at freq 800. my sample of 6 pieces are spaced about 5 days each. 11/12 good boards = 91.6% I will continue to post here and talk when the sixth one comes and when the seventh one comes. Not the greatest size or sample but it has come from 5 different batches. I am waiting on tracking for the 6th one.

Take your own conclusions from my experience. Unfortunately if they have this policy written on the site, you accepted it by ordering from them The only thing you can do now is warn others, so they are more careful at choosing both the hardware and seller. I feel the need for a legitimate, supportive company in this industry of scammers.

Just an inquiry, another vendor is offering a G-Black unit (which appears to be five GS 'blades' in a self-contained tower), does Zoomhash have any plans to have inventory on these? The price with shipping is really close to just picking up 5 G-blades from here and being able to split them up on pools as I choose, but if you guys will be carrying them...

Would be easier to manage, but does it have a r-pi built in. I use my little asock z77 chip itx-e pc with a nice i7 3770t cpu and this pc just fucking mines everything and anything.

That is a nice deal. If only A2 would drop their damn prices you know they have given pretty good prices on the blades lately. I want more, but I am waiting before I order the new deal as I have no tracking on my last 2 shipments. Still want to spend money on this product. I think it has good value. Hey mike hurry up on order numbers 6247 and 6281 so I can order this 4 pack.

Well an opinion on the 3 doa blades gets a free blade request. I would be very cautious going that route. I have sold electronic gear on ebay for a decade. here is my ebay record. http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=philipma1957It is really good record. I estimate 10 percent of my buyers have tried to pull a fast one. I was able to satisfy every one of them. One way or another. Frankly I would not have done 3 rma's unless you know the gear fails a lot. Based on reports of the gridseed blades working or failing, that fail rate of 3 doa blades in a row is too high. But in all the years I have sold gear I had 1 terrible item the worlds first 7200rpm 500gh laptop hdd. First made by seagate in 2008 my failed hdd rate was 8 of 14 hdds. The seagate forum had a 16 page thread of fu ,fu, fu, fu this drive sucks. My losses on this item were higher then any item I ever sold. Based on blade price now I would send him a blade for 350- 400 dollars. Which is a good discount. If he said no to that I would send him three 5 chip gridseeds for free if he said no to that I would not have much else to offer to you to fix the issue. Remember even though he sent 3 blades back to you unless you carefully checked all your serial numbers he may have had 3 good blades from you and sent you 3 blades that were bad. To illustrate what I mean at least 3 other companies deal gridseed blades and there are 2 group buys for them on this site. So that is 5 sources of people/companies that handle a lot of blades anyone of them could be connected to this customer of yours and had him rma with you 3 times. You look bad and they replaced 3 duds on your bill. Since I do not know if you checked each and every rma and photoed the serial number on the pcb boards what I say above is a guess. In no way do I believe that has happened and I do not know if that is possible since I do not have enough info. I only point out many people swap out electronics this way. To frigidformself mike has really been a good guy with his company It appears he refund your purchased and sent you 3 replacements. This gear has been pretty good gear for most people is not there some middle ground for you and mike? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Back to me and what I want here. You have been good to me you sent me my rma no questions asked. The replacement gear works great. I was good back to as I ordered more blades and I really do want to order the sixth blade. So once again I ask for you to please set up my discount for this purchase. I sent a pm to chris. I listed all my purchases made from march until early June. I do not want to be a pest but please fix this for me. Agreed, 3 exchanges = 4 blades. So far we shipped over 1700 blades and had only around ~53 of them DOA so the DOA rate is around ~3%. Him having 4 blades that consecutively fail from different lots would mean he hit chances of 0.000003% (Is my math correct here)? It is possible but very unlikely. I think the odds of winning the lottery would be higher. We get fast ones pulled on us all the time and we sometimes let it slide. But to threaten us with "bad publicity" unless we give him a free blade is just wrong. As for the logs of the RMAs, I would have to check with our tech but we even cross shipped the devices. Also, the user claimed he used CGminer and BFGminer on this forum, both of which are unstable with gridseed products. also check your PM for your code. Thanks. Hi Mike! I did say that I was going to let it drop, but you kept talking. We did 3 exchanges for a total of 3 blades. After the third DOA Blade, I requested a refund. At no point during any of these exchanges did you or your company state that the Blades were not DOA or claim that I was at fault. Your company accepted each blade as having one DOA board, until I brought it to public attention that I had received 3 DOA boards from your company. I'm sorry that you feel "threatened" by my remarks that I would make your transgressions public; that's a lot less threatening then the way your company has been handling this. I wish someone from your tech support team had actually said something at some point if you honestly believed I was at fault. I would have gladly talked with your tech to get it working if you had even once said that it was a possibility. I, honestly, wanted that blade to work. I was so fucking excited when I got that first one. You can even look up my reddit history, I fucking loved you guys until this shit happened. Then you guys threw me under the bus so fucking hard..... Let's do math, because you seem to really like math. What are the odds of 1 item that is composed of 2 independent objects breaking? The odds of it happening are 50/50. You are confusing odds and chances. I agree that the chances of it happening that many times in a row are ridiculous. When you buy a lottery ticket, your odds stay the same; but your chances increase. I'm upset that you're running a business. Again, I did ask to keep my broken scryptblade and receive a full refund for it at one point out of the sheer frustration of dealing with your company. I do actually have all six serial numbers for all six boards. I am willing to provide them to a trusted member of this board, if you are also willing to provide that same member the same serial numbers with screenshots showing them hashing. As I can provide that information if requested. I mean, or you could say you're sorry; stop trying to throw me under the bus, and we can be on our way. If you do keep talking shit about me, then I will keep defending myself. Let me just very clearly state though, that I do not want any money or compensation from your company at this point. I just want you to apologize and stop being an asshole, thanks!
