News: Due to a wallet-migration bug, you should not upgrade Bitcoin Core. But if you already did, there's no need to downgrade.

http://h20.hashkings.com is on the proper fork!! mine with us now!!

what is the proper fork? hashing.at or dedicated??
hashing.at found all the blocks in their fork in the last minutes, so they are wrong.

Sorry for the n00b question, but does this mean any coins earned at hashing.at are now no good ?

FWIW, xhash.net looks good (I'm just comparing the block they are on and the block from the getinfo command)

I think the fork started at about block 320, so anything before then should be OK

I'm off to bed now, hope everything is OK in the morning

Does this mean there is going to be another re-launch or is it not a problem?

Was mining at h2o.hashing.at since launch. When I was trying to get a payout from the pool, balance changed to 0 (as normal) but the coins still have not showed up in wallet.

Will stop mining this coin now.

Same. But i'm sure they will fix it.

to ramble on

Quote
Est. Avg. Time per Block   50 seconds

so about 1hr 40 to get your first bit of coin from the time you mined it.
(not that bad, aurora got up to nearly 2 weeks to confirm your coin.. was so nuts)

Most pools also have some sort of "blocks" link and some let you search blocks.

so you can find one you were mining on earlier and watch as it gets the confirmations it needs.

Most of the blocks links dont scroll far enough.. so you need the search to find a specific block.. but you can alse the thing i said about confirmations on that page.

Check the block explorer. If a pool is at the same block, you're probably on the right fork.
I think the only pool with a problem is hashing.at, they're investigating it atm.

How to see if your pool is on the correct fork:

- Open Wallet -> Help -> Debug Window -> Console (Tab)

Type: getinfo (press enter)

look for blocks and take note of its current value, { ... "blocks" : 378 ... }
(The value is 378 in this example)

Go to your Pool's homepage and click on the "Pool" tab and locate the current block
(Your Pool of choice may have it somewhere else, just keep digging around)

If the wallet block and the current pool block are the same then you are on the correct fork.

I'm new at this so please correct me if I am wrong !
