Hey guys, since im living in germany im mining at http://78.137.98.88:41876/ becaust the node is also in germany. Im mining with 1.2 Mh/s but it says that my payments is only 7 EMC2 for 2 hours of mining. How long does it takes for the coins to mature? Im just wondering because I've never mined at p2pool, and at the standart pool im earning about 1100 EMC2 per day....Thanks in advice!

Yes. You are correct. I do own quite a bit of EMC2. I also HODL a fair amount of BTC, LTC, NMC, DVC and of course EMC2

I speculate and play with most coins but HODL only the ones that have a bright future ahead of them.

Please don't spread FUD on our thread. Scrypt coins will be around in 5 years. My magic 8-Ball told me so!

 Grin

I'm not spreading FUD, just stating the facts, as soon as an efficient ASIC scrypt miner will be developed every single scrypt coin except for LTC will be useless. Everyone will just jump to Scrypt Jane or Adaptive N-factor.

I've also got some EMC2 because I like the ideas but actually thinking this coin has the potential to get to the 3rd or 4th market cap without significant modifications to the code is just silly.

If ASIC scypt miners become a problem all the scrypt coins will likely fork to Scrypt Jane or Adaptive N or whatever the latest is.

Hey :-) ... currently there is one big hasher on the network with something around 20mhash - as this is PPLNS (pay per last n shares) it will level out over some time (24hrs) - but: the normal payout for the p2pool network is currently something about 20 minutes (if we are lucky.. just like on a normal pool). Your Payout will raise over time as it needs something about 24 hours to get your full amount of payout.

check this guy : http://cryptexplorer.com/address/Eb88GFkv25MAvEpNb1gidoVek3NRxCU1dd
mining here http://einsteinium-us.cloudapp.net:41876/static/ with ~1.2 mhash

Look :

#4 Auroracoin $ 286,537,655

#6 Dogecoin $ 44,781,183

#7 Nxt $ 41,426,371

These coins were nowhere months ago and now look at them today.

I mean for real.. look at them!!!!!!

They have nothing going for them. EMC2 actually gives back to science. Real money from every coin mined. This coin has massive potential and I see no reason why I wouldn't mine this coin when I get my Alpha-Tech preorder.

this coin should be valued at 0.005 minimum

Just for some pricing perspective, this would place it #3 in market cap and it would almost triple the market cap of LTC. One can dream, but this would probably take at least a year if it ever happened.

Imagine.. If you have idea, example, greate new kind of plastic (yes, you have a big brain Grin), which does not harm the ecology, but you dont have money to start your project, you can get support from EMC2. one thought of it makes made findings. i don't know what happened in future, that waits emc2 and us, but potencial is HUGE. This makes it a valuable (sorry if sound naive, but I Want to Believe)

Yea...
Emc2 will not reach .005 BTC. However, I think it will be worth a lot more than it is now, though.

Anything is possible. I'll HODL mine till about 1$ each. Then I'll start selling bit by bit but never my whole stack.

Eventually (After 2 or 3 projects have been funded) we should open up another address for donations to the funding. That way Einsteinium can keep funding past the base amount. This should be the only way to donate to the fund, this will strengthen the idea that Einsteinium is all about.

Another idea I had was to reach out to companies that sell common science materials/tools and ask if they would like to accept Einsteinium. That way we could even buy the materials for a project straight from the fund.

I've been mining in the p2p pool at 410 k/hs for a few hours now, but I'm getting in my wallet only fractions of EMC2s.
Is that normal?

I'm getting the third lowest payouts from this node:

http://ca.p2pool.sk:41876/static/

totalizing 0.39 EMC2 in some hours, which is ridiculous - in other pools I was getting 30-50 EMC2s in the same timeframe...

http://cryptexplorer.com/address/EbyVGdrzBiN3NuCnokRYfgzAPLgvFkVpMC

I know it need time to adjust, but can the gap be SO big?

Yes, it can.  You can look at your stats, and payout on the graphs page of the node you are mining on (look for your address).  It can take up to 24 hours for your payout to be full.
