I do not want to offend you @Daniel91 but here are my two cents.

It's Yahoo who will make the ultimate decision and I respect it without asking any question but when someone higher rank apply for a lower rank position then I feel that lower rank space was wasted.

Those who are still in the lower ranks, they deserve the spot more than anyone else.

I think that every campaign manager wants and looking for quality.
Likewise, forum members are looking for quality and professional campaigns.
It is often the case that forum members initially accept lower terms hoping that their contribution, quality and rank will later be recognized.
So, If accepted, I will not keep this position forever, campaign manager will get one more participant with certain reputation, quality and rank, and this current position, soon or later, will be opened again.

But does this mean a lower rank guy could apply for a higher rank slot despite being limited by his profile's signature space capability? What determines post quality? Merits are certainly not the right yardstick..

obviously lower ranked member cannot apply for higher ranked spots. I try to fill the open slot with the appropriate rank but look at the last page of applicants. Mostly barely active idiots trying to enroll alt accounts. I will not put a barely active account in a slot period, those guys are just wasting time.

Merit does come into play though, especially if there is 1 open slot and 2 members want it. The better post quality and more merited user will get the slot
