Chelsea will likely beat Aston Villa because they have a more reliable attacking side. Although Aston Villa has shown consistency and played more organized, Chelsea is also equally strong, and they are playing at home, which increases their motivation to play.
But I think that the scoreline for Chelsea in this match is quite narrow, maybe 2-1 or 1-0, because Aston Villa is also not an easy opponent, and Maresca needs to think about the best strategy, otherwise Aston Villa will get 3 points at Stamford Bridge.

For that reason, I think it is going to be something that will get a lot better results one way or another. I get that it is not going to be that much of a big deal but we should be considering how Arsenal will end up with good results one way or another, no need to rush it. Sure they had a few bad results and City got close, but City is still not there, and Arsenal is still at the top. Arsenal have been the architect of their own problem of not winning the premier league for the last five years since Mikel Arteta has been managing the club. For each season they suffer same trajectory of inconsistency by start well and finishing poor, breaking the hearts of the fans.

Other seasons they have a fantastic campaign run down to February/March before beginning to show the signs of struggling and points declining but this season it is happening too early, for a season we had felt It was going to be a positive turn for the North London club after making all those signings.

Apparently, Arteta still can't figure out how to manage a team without the players getting tired all season long. I see how often other coaches resort to squad rotation in different competitions, like Guardiola recently experimented with at City, even during a Champions League match, so his players could rest, but Arteta doesn't do this as much, and his key players play too often. And since Arsenal plays a very active style of football, it's demanding, and when the players get tired, they can lose, and this happens every year.

Arteta has to begin rotating his players in the similar pattern that his colleagues are managing their players in the various clubs with, cause the intense competition from multiple leagues matches they play can be tiring for the players causing them fatigue this affecting a stunning start of a season for the players in every season making Arsenal to have this stigma of a club that is not serious about winning trophies.

When they want to break what we consider to be the curse for Arsenal in recent seasons then surely they have to try as much as possible to maintain their form and at the moment the season is still too long where we have only completed half of the season for now so the situation is still a little complicated to make full confidence in Arsenal.

The season has 19 weeks left and currently their points gap is only 2 from Manchester City who are in the runners up so just one mistake can make them slip and to be honest I still believe that when they slip and are in second place it will be very difficult for Arsenal to come back which in the end the conditions will be the same as in previous seasons.

Nothing is sure in the Premier League. I agree that Arsenal has the best squad in the league, not just the best defence, but they lack that champions winning mentaility, while City has that in abundance. Arsenal just looks like the team that will buckle under the pressure in the run-in if they keep going toe to toe with City.

There is this swagger you have when you have done something over and over again, and City have that swagger. While Arsenal is known as the team that has failed over and over again, so you get what i am talking about.

I won't say anything of such until February at least. Arsenal have experienced more solid performance than they are currently having now in past seasons around this period and still fail to win it. For this reason, I don't consider that this might be the season they will break the curse until at least February. City can still come back to hunt them again, after all the most consistent teams is always the victor in the EPL.

I hope so. Because it would be very disappointing if Arsenal failed again this season. I can't imagine how Arteta would take the ridicule he doesn't deserve. Arteta is a good coach. He just hasn't been lucky enough to deliver the best for Arsenal, such as winning the UCL and Premier League. But if he manages to lead Arsenal to victory in the UCL and Premier League this season, I'm sure this season will be considered the most historic season for Arsenal. And everyone will start praising Arteta for those results.

Love him or hate him he definitely speaks facts. It is a duty for every player to actually keep his weight in check. Otherwise obviously he is not going to perform as well as he could have if he was fitter. And obviously a lot of people are trying to make him the villain in this situation. But I think he is only thinking about what is going to get better results for the club. Obviously that is going to help himself as well. Make his resume better as well. And looking at the picture it definitely looks like the players have had a little too many pies 

Overweight can reduce the activeness and sharpness of a player when he's on the pitch. Pep must have observed this because he has been in the coaching system for a very long time now. Nobody should say anything because if his men are not performing well, he will take the blame. I support him on this.

It has always been Pep’s pattern not to use overweight players in his team, it’s very important that players are well fit, I remember when the likes of Iheanacho, Sergio Kun Aguero, and others had over weight issues Pep Guardiola did not use them during those periods.
So this is not a new thing with Pep, players have to stay fit to perform excellently, why the likes of Ronaldo and Messi have been performing so well consistently at top level is because they took training and staying fit seriously.

Crystal Palace were not bad in this match and the fact that they worked harder until the end of the match proved their seriousness but Arsenal remained superior in terms of mentality and strength even though they played with a second-tier squad.
Now Arsenal have secured a position in the Carabao at least qualifying for the next phase and now Arsenal only have to focus on their condition in the Premier League because one mistake they make could be exploited by competitors especially now that some big clubs subscribed to the big 4 are starting to show their performance.

Arsenal are certainly struggling a bit this season, but that's normal. Having dominated the league so far, it's normal for there to be a small break to make room for much stronger teams. For now, they clearly need to hold their own and try to bring home as many victories as possible.

it would be very disappointing if Arsenal don't end up winning the title this season, they clearly have a higher chance of winning than other teams but lately they are beginning to slow down a bit i just hope that they are not going to start messing up because if they do Manchester city won't hesitate to overtake them because they are also fighting to win the title as well, city are not joking around and from the way it seems it looks like they are back on track and with the pace they are taking they might be a threat to Arsenal.

It's quite reasonable why Chelsea is favored in this match because they have the advantage of playing at home, but I think it won't be easy for Chelsea to just dominate the game because Aston Villa is not an opponent that can be easily defeated, and they might even turn things around. Chelsea are not at their best, at least that's what it looked like when they faced Newcastle, but they have some good news, as Estevao and Liam Delap are likely to be back in action. Aston Villa haven't played too well against Man United, but they always have a way of getting a win. I think this match will probably end in a draw.

The attitude of the players has been one of the principal contributors and that cannot be corrected by a system in a very short time. Amorim has time and he needs at least one more transfer window to actually deliver the players that he would see in his vision. He is laying a better foundation than before the managers even though success may not come within the short term.

Manchester United are no longer what we know so every time there is a small improvement it always seems to be such a great thing but we know very well that they cannot be satisfied with something like this, now they have to push and try to move up even if the problems are tangible.

Arsenal are current in very good form, they are currently the favorite to win the premiere league competition. And seems they will do everything to do that this season, they have been consistently winning their matches from the start of the season, they are trying everything possible to see that they maintain their position in the table,

However, the competition is becoming more tough, as some clubs like Manchester city are coming closer to them in the table, makes the competition more competitive. Although, I believe in Arsenal this season, after the Xmas break I want to see them giving Manchester city much gap, to secure their spot.

We still have more than half of the league matches to play yet, being confident is believing in the team but looking at the table says otherwise. Arsenal and Manchester City are currently on the same level, i won't be including Aston Villa for now till i watch their progress in the league and how consistent they will be in the long run, at least when close to the 30th league matches will determine if they remain one of the top contenders.

Currently Arsenal players are fit to play, still can’t tell the current state concerning Gabriel injury. The team needs him to support the defense viewing there’s no much pressure although Saliba and Timber are top good players just imagine Gabriel joining the squad.
I love the fact you’re confident about Arsenal winning even with 2 point difference ahead Manchester City, if Arsenal really wants to win the title then they should secure all 3 points each match day else City is at the corner waiting for next move.
