Of course. It has always been about the money. To each their own. Now why would Justin Sun be a scammer? Has he defrauded anyone? For what I know, Justin decided to leave the TRON project in the hands of the community. He is no longer involved in it. But if he robbed from investors, then he deserves jail. Of course. It has always been about the money. To each their own. Now why would Justin Sun be a scammer? Has he defrauded anyone? Most of these altcoin founders are different levels of scammers. DYOR, there are plenty of reddit threads about it. If you don't know otherwise by now about Justin's scams then that is not a good sign. You need to remember that being a scammer is not only about conducting actual theft, or a "rug".

Don't think about business people as smart Gods of life. They make a lot of mistakes and stupid decisions all the time, actually many of them are quire stupid people overall. His inability to control himself has done him more harm than good.

Opening a full scale cryptocurrency at this moment would indeed be a risky business to undertake given the aggressive nature of regulators. Musk is a clever guy, and he understands that the right timing is everything. A stable coin is better to him provided he wants something practical and less confrontational and more so this is pegged on a big currency and it is accompanied with a certain sort of partnership and regulatory approval and yeah he has a massive influence in the world of the crypto. He even does not need to issue a coin and by a single tweet he can cause markets to shift. I think when and should he do release something he will do it in a larger ecosystem like X or one of his companies not a meme token.

Why wouldn't a candidate accept cryptocurrencies as a form of donation in the first place? It is a form of payment afterall. Soon enough it will be the only form of payment accepted worldwide the way it's trajectory has been only trending upwards over the past 4-5 years.
