It will be spicy for sure. Probably there is a lot of some truth in Messi claim but even if there weren't they would complain about this decision for sure. Just hope football will manage to be main story and not some behind the scenes decisions or bad referee decisions.

On the one hand, for the fans of the Brazilian national team, this is good news ... but two weeks to prepare for the tournament seem unrealistic to me, (not to mention the fact that there is covid in full swing).

Well, moving Copa America to Brazil is really going to make things more spicy. But on the other hand, this thing means that games will be played without spectators. Covid situation in Brazil is one of the worst in the world and from what I saw, now Brazil Serie A clubs are playing in empty stadiums. So, I think that moving tournament to USA would be much better decision.

No problem mate, I don't mind having extra money on the account Much better to have extra payments and not know who made them than missing payments.

Finally fellow Brazilian supporter, I got sick of all those La Celeste supporters I am actually leaning towards Colombia a bit more but Brazil is my second choice. That being said I don't like them moving Copa to Brazil. They should have picked some country where it can be played with supporters. I believe southern USA states would have been a good compromise in this covid times and another boost to football popularity in USA.

Uruguay or Colombia is my pick, but this largely because of odds (Uruguay frequent underdog in the big team pools for some reason) but I won't be surprised if Messi finds a way to swansong his way into this extra Copa (yeah, no rules eh).

Yeah, it's almost as if they just want to live up to their crazy reputation ha! Some reasonably disappointing results for some last night (Chile and Uruguay both drawing being the most annoying as I don't like betting handicaps or draws) but seems like we're already getting some clues into how Copa will turn out next week.

Supporting Argentina, like I have been doing for the last 15 years or so. I'd like Messi and Aguero to win something meaningful with the national team. I think they lost 3 Copa finals, as well as a World cup final.

Brazil must be considered favorites, although I think bookies rate Argentina higher.

^^ it does depend where you want to place a bet, but Brasil is mostly considered as favorite (did not check week ago, maybe it is because of changing venues to Brasil)
Brasil, than Argentina a bit higher, and Uruguay and Colombia at 8/9, Chile s worth notice at 15+, others are safe to miss bets

Yeah, there will be third place game, though, I'm not sure that's must needed thing in such tournament. Ford underdogs, maybe yes, even 3rd place is big achievement, but for favorites who lost semifinal, sometimes it's difficult to find motivation for this game. After all, I hardly can remember 3rd place game which would had stuck in my mind.
Suarez top scorer is interesting bet with good value, I think, worth to try.
It seems that any TV channel won't show Copa America in my country - as always, this tournament don't get enough coverage in Europe. Probably time difference and all attention to EURO is main reasons. So, I will have to use IPTV. I think I saw that BBC will show it?

I don't feel like Uruguay will score many goals after their performance yesterday. Why is Cavani not playing for them? I guess he just got a few extra days of rest after playing Europa League final.

regarding 3rd place match, it could make a difference for Uruguay scorers, and Suarez is the one than is motivated in all matches, that was the reason I asked about it, that could be a match with goals
it seems that 4-5 goals could be enough to get best scorers title, and on five/six matches, where one is for third place, that could be important, players within teams that will not go through group phases are clearly harder option for most goals

nevertheless, will think about it, IMO, Suarez has better value than Uruguay to win, although neither is close to be a win

Urugvay aint got a special team or anything just a normal one. They were close to winning the match overall boring match. But the goal that was scored got denied by VAR even a penalty could have been in the 95th min
