I want to think out loud this time, it feels better and I believe that I'll vote more cautiously. 

• Hero of Good: I can't give this vote to any other than theymos. He definitely deserves it, activity asides, because he's left legacy. And he's been running the forum in the most free fashion.
• Golden Feather: I'm keeping that it's pleasant to read Golden feather's posts, and that it's someone I can trust. I'm between two, but thanks to new rules, I'll have no such problem as choosing one of them: o_e_l_e_o and LoyceV.
• Bitcointalk Ninja: Basically this one is taken by those who've been contributing exceptionally well; for the forum though. LoyceV and TryNinja.
• Bitcoin Geek: Hilarious description... Alright, first off pooya87; pop icon of the Dev & Tech board. Next, we have achow101 and gmaxwell, even inactive in comparison with others.
• Event of the Year: Notable event in cryptocurrencies this year... I'm gonna go with one: crash.
• Fail of the Year: Sam Bankman-Fried, Craig Wright.

My observation is that most of the votes are going to have a wash-rinse-copy-and-paste pattern, either from their past votes or from those of others before them this year. It's a given that most voters won't even know what they're voting for.
