What you are saying is wrong @Cryptovator has always given merits to all ranks in this thread. He gave me merits when I made my first report here as a Jr. Member. He doesn't segregate, it could be that he hasn't come across your post, if he does come across your post and still has sMerits left he will give you. You just have exercise patience. But I want to correct the impression that he @Cryptovator only focus on Snr. Members and Hero members, that's wrong!!

Thank you, @Perfectbabay. I want you to know that Cryptovator doesn't forget anybody, and he doesn't focus only on senior members or hero members. I think Cryptovator has a procedure for helping users achieve their new ranks on this thread; maybe your account doesn't fit into Cryptovator's requirements. Last month, Cryptovator helped a member achieve a full member rank on this thread, so what you said about Cryptovator is not right.

It is his Smerits and he has the right to give to whoever meets up to his criteria. Maybe your post quality does not deserve his Smerits. Give more quality posts, and you might earn the rest merits without Cryptovator's assistance. What if he is short of Smerits, how will you know. He gives merits to all ranks that are worthy of his Smerits.

If they get this rank easily, then they will be discouraged from contributing to the forum. They should earn at least 90% merit before applying here. Above Full Member 25 is fine; that is in your current rules. That's the reason sometimes I ignore full members. I don't want to let them be lazy. I believe merit limits would be different for each rank.

My advice is below. 
To apply here, applicants should have below-average merits according to ranks.

To Members: 9 Merits
To Full Members: 90 Merits
To Sr. Members: 225 Merits
To Hero Members: 450 merits 
To Legendary: 900 Merits

It's just my advice; maybe some +/- would be fine.

The existing of merits is fine but the knowledge of it sometimes doesn’t bring out the best in you, especially once you start posting here. Seriously, I don’t think there isn’t any user who posts here and is this looking up to be ranked up that isn’t in expectation that you’ll archive that from this thread. If am to be any sincere with myself and the rest of you, I have these thoughts pop on my head once I ever applied here. After all, it saw other people ranked up!

This affects you in a way, I wouldn’t go for the word lazy but, you don’t have the same energy to go at it like you once did. I don’t like talking about the merit thing but, it’s a merit thread and you can’t really do without talking about it a bit. I think users with no idea of merits happens to have it rather easily because, you do you at all times, you don’t front it, you don’t pursue it. It was the case for me but, am close to the next rank and I feel I should have been there and that feeling distances it from me the more. Been trying not to let it eat up my approach towards the forum though.
Meanwhile, before I applied here, I tried reading the OP if there are any rules to some quota before application and didn’t find any. A little haphazard look around and users could just apply once they felt they are some worth close. Took my chances but should have waited I guess.

That’s why, I find the proposal by The Cryptovator very useful and would help to tame the thread if applied. It’s a good one and am in support.

but some users is not following this principle, some of them is applying to this thread for applying sack, I think is the high time to monitor applications of users that fail to follow this instruction, mostly members that have not gotten up nine [9] merits you see them applying for this thread even full members too, I don't even know if they don't use to read the content of the thread and also the terms and conditions of the thread if I'm not mistaken before they apply, I don't want to quote anybody in respect of these, before some of them will start saying that I don't nwant their growth, I like as you repost this terms and conditions so that they read and understand before applying.

The listed requirement above is just a suggestion that the cryptovator made, which I also agree with, but before now, the quote below was how the requirement looked, so if members who are in pursuit of full member rank applied with 75 merit before the new requirement, they are still not breaking any rules and shouldn't be considered as people that don't follow laws.

Member merits(75-99) CD to full member

Am really greatful for your advice though I wasn't aware of this new rule that's was why I applied here for the first time since the rules has been listed down I hope others see it and follow according it to ones again thanks Cryptovator for helping users here get to their required rank.
