There was a Nottingham - Aston Villa game today and it finished very surprisingly. Despite Aston Villa's domination Nottingham won by 2-0 anyway. Especially in the second half Aston Villa made a huge effort for making a comeback. I wish I saw the same level of effort in the first half also. Then maybe Nottinham wouldn't have got away with that.  

Up next Liverpool are playing a comfortable away game against Luton. It is about to start in 15 minutes. Honestly my expectation is nothing different than an easy victory.

Because Luton aren't a team that can get points from top teams which are in-form. But they lost to Tottenham home by only one-goal difference for example. Liverpool had better not to underestimate them if they want to win easier.

Football is not that easy to predict a winner and comfortably have the results that way, you should always expect the unexpected. Even though Liverpool is a better side to Luton it still doesn't mean we should write off Luton not been capable to put up a big fight against the reds today playing at home It's usually that underdogs that huts us with that unexpected result we may be expecting from a bigger opponent.

Nevertheless, Liverpool has no option but to win this game today to stay number one on the EPL table ahead of Arsenal who are currently ontop of the table with just one point above Liverpool. So with a win against Luton today Liverpool will be having a clear tow points ahead of Arsenal who  lost their last match to Newcastle through a controversial 1:0 defeat playing away.

I never expect forest to get cleansheet against aston villa. Villa's performance look so horrible in this game. Congratulation for forest by acquiring three points from villa but this is a very bad result achieved by emery's squad.
Forest was making three goal attempts as well as villa. Despite Villa's control of the game, their lack of accurate shooting resulted in fewer chances and ultimately made their ball possession meaningless.
Villa was using a counter attack strategy once it was facing a strong club but this time forest is using low blocks against villa. It makes villa is quiet struggling in attacking forest. Forest is always having good defense.
This is not a lucky day for aston villa. The attacks were underperform unlike the previous matches. The team's ability to consistently challenge and defeat weaker clubs is something that I am not familiar with when it comes to Villa.

Yesterday Tottenham vs Chelsea match between two teams in Premier League, Chelsea team played very well for which Chelsea team won the match by scoring 4 goals. Tottenham scored the first goal in the first 6 minutes of the game. But Tottenham team scored the first goal in this match.  After that, Tottenham could not win this match. I did not expect such a strong team to perform so badly. Tottenham team did not win this match because of the poor performance of Tottenham team players.

It was one of the most interesting matches of the season. Normally Tottenham were absolutely the favourite side to win. Those red cards brought their end in this match. Actually they were still able to create dangerous attacks against Chelsea even in that situation. Eric Dier was offside otherwise it was a really nice goal. There was another chance wasted just in front of the goal line. I can't imagine how this match would have ended without the red cards. I don't expect this match to be a big motivation for Chelsea honestly. They are still not credible.

By the way Nicolas Jackson made a hat-trick. He was quite selfish though as he didn't prefer passing the ball to Mudryk 2 times. But I guess it was due to the ambition of proving himself to the fans.

I was not impressed with yesterday's match even though some people still say that Chelsea's performance was very good and it was an interesting match, but for me it wasn't.
If only Tottenham didn't get 2 red cards, most likely the match would have turned the other way. Tottenham won but unfortunately luck came for Chelsea when Tottenham players got 2 red cards.
It's just about luck, not because of Chelsea's good performance.

Tottenham could have really won that match if they didn't get those red cards. Instead they got a humiliating loss. I didn't expect this match to be the one to stop Tottenham to be honest. Because you know Chelsea. They have been dealing with serious problems in the recent seasons. They have made many transfers but still there is no improvement. They must have spent nearly 1 billion euros in the last 2 years.

Will this win make them start playing better and get positive results more in number? I have doubts about that.

Of course Tottenham Hotspur would have won the match because there is know way we can compare Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea performance because it was obvious that the wining was for Tottenham Hotspur if not for the red card and the injuries most of there players has, so that's were there losing started.

Perhaps if Tottenham Hotspur would have won the match they would have maintain there position as number one on the premier League table but now it will be very difficult for them to go back to first on the table because Manchester city on the other hand will make sure to win all there upcoming matches in other to remain the first on premier league table.

@CLS63 I believe that Chelsea can improve their game further and thus win would have boosted their overall morale so let’s wait and see how they perform next. Furthermore given time I feel that Poch will buy less but more quality player’s because he’s also open about how they have spend too much and too fast hence I’m sure that he’ll only spend if there’s a genuine need for it.

Yes, it makes perfect sense and there is still plenty of time to give Pochettino the opportunity to improve Chelsea, even though many people still doubt Pochettino, but at least giving him a chance after the transfer window opens, there is no harm in it and I really agree that Pochettino has previously spent too much money on several players. and now Pochettino already knows Chelsea current weakness so it possible that he will sell several players and get more quality players. Like at that time I heard rumors that Chelsea would try to make a good offer to the player from series A, Osimhen.
Even though it a little impossible to get this player, we all dont know what will happen. on the one hand, Osimhen doesn't feel at home at his current club, whereas Chelsea has very good finances and even giving Osimhen a big salary is very easy.

Tomorrow's match will be a bit interesting when Wolves will welcome Tottenham and I think this time Tottenham will have to tone down their performance a little for several reasons, firstly, Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie cannot be present in this match because of a red card violation when they faced Chelsea in the previous match and in one side several Tottenham players suffered injuries and could not force themselves to appear in the upcoming match.
So the bookie gives odds @ 2.19 for Tottenham because even though they are favorites, the chance of winning will be a little difficult and it is better to bet carefully in this match.

Spending insane amount of money doesn't guarantee any success for any team. Chelsea's situation is showing this truth clearly. It looks like something bigger needs to change at this team. Otherwise Chelsea would continue to make their fans unhappy for many more seasons.    I'm not one of them but I would still like to see the competitive Chelsea back again. For example Eden Hazard's times were mostly amazing.

I can say that Roman Abramovich is Chelsea's DNA. I really miss the days when Abramovich was the owner of the Chelsea club. If we talk about eras, I think the Hazard era was truly extraordinary, but the era where there were players like Drogba, Makelele, Essien, Terry and Lampard was the era of Chelsea legends. I loved those times.
If you look at what is happening with Chelsea at the moment then I think it seems like this is the same thing that is happening with United. I just hope Chelsea can end these terrible seasons as soon as possible.

Manchester City are quite favourite side to be the winner here naturally. But I don't know whether the performance gap would be exactly that much. I watched Manchester City against Chelsea in that spectacular and unforgettable game. Chelsea made quite much difficulties for them. Liverpool are technically a much more productive team than Chelsea this season.

For this reason I think that we will watch quite an enjoyable game. I expect BTTS and over 2.5 goals.

The international break was not favorable for Manchester City at all because Erling Haaland got injured and might miss their Premier League returning match against Liverpool which may give Liverpool a chance to win the match because they are well equipped and strong this season; moreover, winning this match will make them the leaders of the Premier league table, so I am expecting some strange result in the match because Liverpool is capable of changing our expectations.

@ILuckyGuyI personally I’m expecting lot of hostility between these two teams and thus I won’t be surprised if a red card is issued in this game because both teams would like to win this fixture and secure bragging rights. Furthermore Halland may just be fit enough to start hence it’ll be real fun to see him up against Liverpool defenders and lastly I feel the final scoreline could be 2 - 1 but not sure which team will win this fixture.

Oh, I didn't know that Erling Haaland got a serious injury. More precisely it seems like he has an ankle injury and we don't have any return date in hand. This wouldn't affect Manchester City only in the game against Liverpool. He could miss a lot of games as there is no certain date. This would be a serious hit to Manchester City as a result.

Because Haaland has scored the half amount the team have scored so far in the league. In his absence I wonder how many goals they will be able to score on average.

But Haaland's injury will have a big impact on City's performance for the next few weeks. Although City is known as a team that has good squad depth, which means they have reserve players who can cover Haaland's role. But I'm skeptical about that because Haaland is currently a world level striker and there are not many strikers at his level. I am worried that this will affect City's performance in several matches in the English League and the Champions League and they will have to be eliminated early.

Anyways, aside jokes now, I also think that this will be a very tough match as well, and right now, it is very difficult to predict which team will win at the end of the day, but personally, I would predict that Manchester city may likely win at the end, for I see them doing all they can to maintain their current position.

This is not to under-estimate Liverpool though. Liverpool may probably be preparing to take the first position, but for them to achieve this, they may have to put in alot of effort in their gameplay.
