If everything continues this way till the end of the season, it's possible that Liverpool will win EPL, but I am not sure of UCL, because there are many strong clubs in UCL that Slot might find difficult to win. Club like Barcelona will be a problem for Liverpool to defeat, because they have an outstanding performance this season with their new coach Flick.

Arne Slot has demonstrated his qualities as a good coach in bringing the team to a stable for with high level of consistency, and it is high time Liverpool win a trophy with such wonderful performance.

Liverpool have been in great form in the English Premier League so far as well as performing very well in the Champions League, so considering the current performance, fans can definitely expect that Liverpool can win the Premier League title as well as the Champions League title this season. But what you mentioned here about the Champions League is 100% true, the Champions League is a much tougher competition than the English Premier League and many good teams qualify here, so it is difficult for Liverpool to do well here. But Liverpool must keep trying, as their squad is pretty much set now, so if they can play at their 100 percent, they will at least qualify for the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Funny how Ruud van Nistelrooy had the same players as Erik Ten Hag but United all of a sudden are looking like they have a fire in them to win games. At some point, I was just thinking and wishing Van Nistelrooy would continue as the manager of the club but unfortunately he has to step aside for Ruben Amorin whose fate in the club is unknown. Let's hope he succeed because it will really be bad if United start facing their bad experience again when the new coach takes over the club.

Brighton are not playing with the kind of intensity I thought they would play against Manchester City. With the way they played against Liverpool, and the current form that Manchester City found themselves right now, I was thinking Broughton would be leading Manchester City by half time, but so far Manchester City has been the better side against them. Manchester City has been dominant for the entire first half. I'm even more surprised that Pep Guardiola dropped Akanji and Ake on the bench and and opted for Pussey. I was hoping that Brighton would have exploited the inexperienced of Pussey and inflict damage on Manchester City. Anyway let's see how the second half will turn out.

Thus, it is now evident that Ruud van Nistelrooy managed to  make Manchester United better but unfortunately, Ruben Amorim will soon become the head coach of Manchester United and I think it will be a pity.

Because anyway, with Ruud van Nistelrooy also the fact that Manchester United can be better and I think Ruud van Nistelrooy deserves to be the head coach at Manchester United. But yes, let's see if Ruben Amorim will really succeed in making Manchester United have good dominance in the Premier League later, or maybe it will fail, but I still really hope Ruud van Nistelrooy is given time until the end of this season.

I hope so. I would hate to see a repeat of Erik Ten Hag in Amorim. I’m confident that won’t be the case because Amorim has been successful with Sporting in their domestic league and also in the Champions League. I can understand why you would want the club to keep Ruud. Manchester United fans have a strong connection with Ruud can Nistelrooy and vice versa. Unfortunately, his time as Manchester United’s manager has come to an end and Amorim will be officially resuming tomorrow. It’s very impressive that Ruud closed the curtain with a clean sheet. Manchester United will not forget that in a hurry.

I was thinking that Liverpool will not be a serious force to reckon with this season but seeing how that have manage to remain relevant in both their premiership and champions league makes me believe they will likely go home with one or both of those trophies; it is a possibility and the chances are high. At the moment, the clubs that would have been a threat to them like Manchester City and Arsenal are both struggling with one problem or the other. Although the season is still very long but there is the possibilities that Liverpool will win the league. They have been able to win certain matches we expected them to lose like the one against Brighton.

A new coach means a new spirit. Maybe the players are bored with Ten Hag who never gets better for Manchester United, so that's why their performances are unpredictable and tend to lose a lot of points. Ruud van Nistelrooy brings so much difference and he has a different approach to his players, he is also a more passionate coach than Ten Hag.

I'm starting to consider Ruud van Nistelrooy's strategic approach for Manchester United to be more effective than Ten Hag's, even if Ruud van Nistelrooy has only had a handful of games under his belt so far. I tend to prefer to see passionate coaches over those who like to analyze silently, Ruud van Nistelrooy has that.

The Red Devils have begun to show signs of revival after Erik Tenhag left the club. And as I have said in previous posts, where I said that MU can be said to have truly risen and been consistent when they were able to destroy Leicester City again in the Premier League. And it's true that after some time ago Manchester managed to destroy Leicester City with a score of 5-2 in the League Cup, the Red Devils again managed to silence and destroy The Foxes with a landslide score of 3-0. And this victory is not only repeating the three-goal difference from the previous meeting, but this victory shows that the Red Devils are on the right track, the path to victory.

Under Ruud's guidance, the Red Devils are really able to appear solid and more dynamic when on the field, they are able to maintain a balance between defense and attack. Chelsea drew 1-1 with Arsenal at home. We knew that 2 teams were in competition with each other and that they had equal points before the match.The first half of the match was scoreless and the goals came in the second half.I don't think either team will object to the draw.

It's a tight match, no doubt that both Chelsea and Arsenal have tried to do their best. They are trying to get 3 points because they want to secure their position in UCL zone. However, they only got a draw, I think it's a fair result. Actually, Chelsea could play more effective although Arsenal won the ball possessions. Chelsea showed good improvement on their game, they are starting to be difficult to be defeated with big EPL teams. Even Arsenal, they have no many shot on targets to score goals. I admit, Chelsea midfielders and defenders have improved quite significantly.

Yep. Chelsea could stay in 3rd place because they scored more goals. Their total goals are the same as Liverpool, it's only 1 difference goal with Man City. We can conclude that Chelsea attackers are quite productive this season.


By the way, it is interesting to see the total points on EPL standings. Specifically the total points of the teams in 3rd place to 9th place. Their total points are 19-18 points which enables for the change in their positions at any time. This also indicates that EPL is very competitive, the EPL teams have quite equal strength.

Both Manchester City and Arsenal's performance has dropped this season, they both are facing injury problems this season. Liverpool is currently performing well, and they are at the top of the table, but just 11 matches have been played, and anything can happen. Don’t be surprised that one of the teams that are performing poorly might end up taking first position from Liverpool, the season hasn’t gotten anywhere, so we can't conclude on who will be winning the league yet, but i know Chelsea can't win the Premier League this season, but they should be able to end the season in top 4. It's just surprising to see Manchester City performing poorly this season.

I was thinking the same thing, it was expected that Liverpool would struggle post Jürgen Klopp. I didn’t expect Arne Slot to adapt to the Premier League so quickly and take charge of the log. The Premier League is not a easy league to play in and most managers take a season or two before they getting the hang of it. In my opinion, Liverpool should focus on one competition if they want to increase their chances of winning any silverware this season. I would be very impressed if Arne Slot wins a trophy in his first season for Liverpool.
