Tyson Fury now officially retired. I think this was the fight that showed he was no longer a world class boxer. He’s right to go out now before he starts getting punished by other boxers and starts to lose his ability to enjoy the remaining years of his life. I was never really a fan, but I’m happy he had a good career and is going out without being embarrassed.
He hasn't retired. This is at least the third time he's "retired". He's just being a baby and throwing his toys out of the pram and trying to get the attention back on him, especially now everyone is talking about the huge Saudi card coming up. He's either using his "retirement" as a bargaining chip to try get more money out of his next fight probably against AJ, or he's "retiring" so he can get out of the drug testing pool so he can juice up do whatever he wants until he's back in training/camp.
Not sure, but probably having back to back loses to Usyk, maybe Fury is not the same fighter that he is, or at least mentally, he has been damaged already. Although I believed there could still be one fight left in him, and that is the all Brits showdown that we are waiting to see.
And if I'm not mistaken, he was not in Saudi for the Ring Magazine award, so maybe he has missed the limelight with all the superstar boxers around and of course the media that he gets and the admiration from the fans. So let's see if this official, or just him being Tyson Fury, will make a huge comeback and reclaim the belt, or just one more fight for the money.
