Here's my pizza, unfortunately the results is different than what I expect, the B shape not really look like BTC.

But, who cares I think it's already quite good and the taste is yummy.

The ingredients are only pizza dough, tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni and sausage. Nothing fancy or nothing expensive.

Since there are so many great Pizza submissions, I was questioning whether to make a submission in this contest, and then I decided to do it once I got agreement from an assistant for the project.

So perhaps I was the director, and my assistant did most of the manual labor portions of the work while learning to cook a pizza under my guidance, yet I was likely not much of a great leader or my assistant and I had some different ideas about pizza direction (and art or lack of art direction for the project).

So we did all of the making of the pizza on June 5th, and so we went shopping for the ingredients on that same day... which largely ended up being around an hour looking for and figuring out which ingredients we were going to use for our special "joint" task.. ... which ended up with these ingredients (approximately) going into the pizza:

500g flour
325ml warm water
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons dried yeast
1 teaspoon oregano
100g of basil
200g tomato sauce
500g shredded mozzarella cheese
500g shredded cheddar (I think?) cheese
around 50g of Parmesan cheese
around 50g of dried red pepper
500g pepperoni slices
500g ham slices
4 Italian sausages (sliced - maybe 500g)
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1 yellow bell pepper
1 hot pepper
1 onion
a couple cloves of Garlic
Pesto sauce (I am not sure if we ended up using that)
Parsley

Most of these ingredients are shown in the picture, but I think that a few of the items that we used did not make it into the picture.



We (meaning my helper) chopped up various ingredients:



The dough was homemade.. and the fluff of the dough was not as good as we had hoped.





My helper had originally made a Bitcoin B with the meat, yet we did not end up going with this artistic version, and we rescrambled the meat and there might have had been a some meat and then cheese on top, and then I had to say that the meat needs to go on top of the cheese.

and then here is some variation of the scrambling of the meat, even though I thought that there was another version with more cheese that was at the precooking stage... yet I am not sure if we had gotten a picture of that precooked version.



Here is most of the cooking before we put the cheese BTC on it, which I think that we started out cooking at around 200C for maybe 20 minutes and then we cooked it at 300 C for another 25-30 minutes, before we put the cheese BTC on it.



Here's the Cheese BTC version.  We are not great artists.  I surely can be partially blamed for cheese placement.



We then put the pizza in the oven for another 10 minutes (maybe at 300C-ish?) to ONLY melt the BTC cheese.



The last step was starting to eat it.



As far as the eating goes.  I have been the one eating the pizza.. and I am still eating it... maybe 4 meals so far, and perhaps one or two more meals..I mostly eat all the ingredients except the crust (though I ate some of the crust, too, but most of the crust I do not want to eat, based on my low carb preferences.. but also the crust was probably not thin enough for me to be attracted to eating it).  I think some aspects of the pizza tastes better as left overs... but my helper does not really like to eat left overs.. for some reason.

Happy BTC Pizza Day 2025

Today is the first time I'm also participating in the Pizza day contest that reminds us the symbolism of Pizza in the Bitcoin and crypto world. I'm excited to see such contests being organized and thank both icopress and Sportsbet.io for putting together such a wonderful contest.

I've dedicated my Pizza for this year's contest to the Almajiris, referring to children, primarily boys between the age of 4 to 12, who leave their homes to distinct locations to acquire religious and moral education, and undergo the informal system of Islamic education in Nigeria.



My ingredients:
• Flour
• Salt
• Yeast
• Sugar
• Oil
• Sausage
• Tomato
• Garlic
• Thyme
• Oregano
• Parsely
• Butter
• Beef

Steps:

Add flour and in a bowl



Add salt



In a cup mix the yeast, sugar and oil into the lukewarm water and leave for a few minutes



Mix the flour and salt. Pour in the liquid



Using your hand, bring the flour in gradually from the sides and swirl it into the liquid



Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl



Kneed until you have a smooth, springy dough



Cover and leave to rise for an hour



I usually leave mine in the microwave



Divide the dough into 2


For the toppings slice the sausage



Stire fry the sliced sausage on a low heat



Prepare the source by adding tomato puree, chopped
garlic, thyme, parsley, seasoning, oregano in a bowl



Kneed the dough and then roll out to any shape of ur choice ( mine is square )



Add water and let it cook for 5min



Melt some butter



Spread the tomato sauce all over (leave a gap from the sides )



Brush the butter around edges


Add your desired toppings, I added my beef



Add your sausage



And off course, add cheese. A combination of cheddar and mozzarella is the best



Place in the oven at 190° until golden brown

I name it, Bitcoin crushing fiat.

I plan to create a mad Bitcoin is crushing fiat, but I forget to cut the fiat into 2 pieces, it's a human error.

It's a garlic cheese pizza, I search on google it's not required to add tomato sauce, hence I only use garlic + oil and cheese, I also add some oregano, very simple.

I hope it's still count as a pizza anyway, it seems I was so tired and not really focus, hence I wrote Apoccolapse instead Apocollapse

Maybe I'm not good enough at making pizza because this is my first attempt which I was able to complete with the help of my older sister. Many people may make pizza in the oven, but I made it on a gas stove. A variety of delicious ingredients were used to make this pizza of mine.  

There are many other delicious ingredients, including flour, tomato sauce, meat, cheese, oil, onion, salt, and more.



The Bitcoin logo was a gift from my older sister that I received for working on this forum.  







The pizza is placed on a gas stove for cooking.


Finally cooked and this delicious pizza is ready to eat and serve.

Finally, I was able to bake my pizza.

Last year I had an epiphany: I had to step up the game quite a bit to be able to beat the competition.
I was particularly satisfied with the result, but apparently, it wasn’t good enough to get to the podium.


So, I decided to do something different and quite innovative for this year.

I liked the idea of having a price graph on the pizza, and I wanted to reproduce it as closely as possible.

Over these months I thought about a solution, that I never really dared to put in practice, until last night, when I baked the most incredible pizza.

A few months ago, casually speaking with a friend of mine, he spoke me with this substance his wife, a professional cook, was trying to learn to use.

Agar Agar, is a gelatinous substance derived from seaweed, is often used in molecular cuisine for its ability to form gels at room temperature. Ferran Adrià, one of the most influential chefs in the world and the mastermind behind the renowned restaurant El Bulli, used Agar Agar as a part of his avant-garde cooking techniques to transform textures, create unique food experiences, and push the boundaries of traditional cuisine.

Agar Agar transforms the texture and the consistency of the food, without impacting the taste, as it is basically tasteless. It's used in all around dishes, not only sweet dishes.

So I used agar agar to compose a drawing on the pizza.

I used 4 colours:

• red: Tomato sauce
• white: stracciatella, the inner and softer part of a mozzarella, mixed with fresh cream (it has the same name, but has nothing to do with the ice cream flavor)
• orange: the obnoxious cheddar cheese
• green: basil leaves with oil

All the above ingredients were finely shredded and then mixed with the Agar Agar. Then poured on the pizza that was previously baked.

At room temperature, the agar-agar solidifies, and the result is what you see below.


This is my usual setup. I forgot to add my name until the last picture, but I think you can see a consistency with the table used over the last few pizza contest...

The dough recipe is always the same:

Let’s start with the dough.
I used this recipe:

Impasto per pizza

I bet you know all the tricks to translate in your language.
I am posting here only the ingredients:

• Manitoba flour 200 g
• Flour 00 300 g
• Room temperature water 300 ml
• Salt up to 10 g
• Fresh brewer's yeast (or 1.5 if dry) 4 g

No milk, no eggs, nothing but simple ingredients.
I followed the recipe; it’s all detailed on the website with nice pictures.
I let the dough grow for 12 hours.

I the following morning I started working the dough with my minimal abilities.

I prepared the red: this is how it looked as soon as I mixed it with the Tomato Sauce:



The green was made of shredded basil with oil:



I poured the basil Green, Tomato Green, and Stracciatella white into a series of casings made of hand-bended aluminum:



Of course, the graph is last year's price graph:



I added my trademark cheddar yellow bitcoin logo in the bottom right, I removed all the casing, and this is the final result:




All on the pizza was Edible, and the flavour was the same as an original pizza.
I tasted a few slices, not many picture, as it was done at 2:00 AM.

The leftover were gone the following days: someone else eat that with satisfaction.
I think it was a good experiment, the idea is good, but there are a lots of things to improve (for next year maybe?)

For about 20 years I didn't make pizza dough.. !

 First year I was thinking the oven is not working

 second edition .. damn, didn't prepare and was too busy with that f** terrestrial aliens !

  .. so, I aimed to prepare and exercice making the dough, I had a year for that

 (did nothink)

 Till today**, race against the clock, when I've made all, by chance I had already the ingredients.


*Classic pizza dough, butter in addition to the olive oil to feet more the tast of the toping.
*Drained tomato to not to have to cook it much and to get it dry.
*Meat + mushrooms + cold cuts + bit tiny onion slices.
*Cheese: Maasdam(I like it) + Edam + Mozza.

I did make only few dough, so I got a very tiny base.. But it was very ok/nice!

We always say that bitcoin will go to the moon, well, that was my main idea behind this year’s design. Theory and practice are two different things, and I admit that I had to redo the pizza because the first time it was a disaster, I wasn’t happy at all with the result.


These are all the ingredients I got:

And these are the pictures of all the different elements that will go on the pizza:

Stars (21 small, 21 big, not a random number), bitcoin symbol and flag made out of two different types of cheddar

• 

Astronaut made using mozzarella (and a mold of course), then I used red pepper for the suit details and eggplant for the helmet visor, these parts were hand-cut:

• 

Explosion effect recreated using three different types of peppers (yellow, orange and red) and a little white cheddar in the middle

• 

Green pepper has been used to create the bitcoin pizza date and the closing price on that day

• 

I wanted the pizza to have a “deep space atmosphere”, so there is a little chemistry involved in the process: I used purple cauliflower to make the sauce on the left and a combination of white cauliflower and red cabbage plus baking soda and a little lemon juice to obtain the blue color for the sauce on the right. I also added some garlic to give some extra flavor (not relevant to the aesthetics, only for the palate)

I pre-baked some small details like moon craters and planet rings

• 

This is how it looks before going into the oven with mozzarella as moon surface and the cauliflower + cabbage sauce for the background

And this is the final result: bitcoin finally conquered the moon!

To make a Saturn-like planet I used a very red Spanish salami and I baked the ring and covered it in edible gold glitter.

Making this pizza required preparing a lot of different elements, and a lot of cutting that often went wrong, but I’m pretty happy with the final result. And I must admit that the cauliflower and garlic sauce tasted better than what I expected.
