The issue with that is me and my roommate don't live in our dorm anymore. That was last year technically cause my account was suspended my last month of the semester. Now I live off campus. but I don't think it would matter because the guy who I tipped and tipped me just lived in my dorm and was not my roommate. My roommate did not gamble nor had stake. So would I still technically fall under Multi-Accounting if first off this is the reason they think I'm multi accounting since I'm using university wifi that I paid for myself and have my own login since its still technically the same network / wifi. I just really need clarification if they can actually suspend my account and withhold withdrawals solely because I was under a university wifi I don't think that should be even possible since theres probably thousands of university students who play stake. What steps should I take now?
You know the steps. Try out what I suggested earlier on by taking the complaint to their forum, where they are very active. Alternatively, you can try out casinoguru or askgambers as already suggested, but i would first get complete answers from their support.

What you need to know is that it does matter if the IP address or laptop sharing happened over a year ago, most of these sites keep user data for years.

Heres the issue with the ask gamblers suggestion. I had previously tried to make a complaint on there like last week or before I'd say but they wouldn't let me post mine saying it was some sort of unfair complaint and they wanted me to send the email which I did and they just said it was a  ‘Unjustified accusations towards operators’. I don't know what that exactly means but I guess I'll have to try again.

Try casinoguru too... Don't bother those askgambler chaps again because you will probably get a similar response. To be honest, your kind of situation is probably difficult for them to moderate too given that you also breached some of their TOS like VPN usage.

If I were you, I wouldn't have my hopes so high after realizing the I breached some of the terms of service.

It's written on their TOS about that rule and every casino has that right whether to allow you to refund or not but it's most likely that they will in most cases if the violation isn't too deep for them. But they still have all the say if you have explained well your situation about your univ's wifi and etc.

Yes they just use it whenever they want to whoever they want, so it's just a legal quibble used to discriminate some customers from others actually, by unfairly applying it according to the customer. And of course a losing customer, with a low account balance is way less likely to get into trouble about that than a winning one with a large balance I guess... So if OP has made profits from them he will have to be patient and combative in short.
I think it will be hard for you to avoid getting a passport and certainly a biometric one tbh @OP, along with several other documents from what you could see from other testimonials here.
That's the loophole for the TOS that they make and every casino has that because they know that it won't always be a good day for both of them, users, and the casino itself.

I think that they have evaluated your case and that's the response that they've given you back. Just like what logfiles has said, if these are what are given to you with the kind of situation that you have for which isn't rare, you have little chance of getting it back.

That is them saying that the evidence and narrative you provided so far led them to conclude that the casino act accordingly within the scope of their terms, and you're the one violating their ToS.

As suggested by others, move on and go to CG, see if they'll make a different initial findings and get your case tried.

Quick question if anyway that me using a VPN is deemed as violating TOS are they under any obligation to atleast give my deposit back since I didn't lose any money off that deposit since I was technically a winning gambler? I feel like it would be pretty unreasonable for them to hold my deposit atleast what do you think the likelihood of me getting my deposit back this whole situation has just been so depressing for me and I don't know if after the CG ticket and if they potentially rule in Stakes favor what I should do or if its even worth it.

Well, personally I have never had any problems with VPN but also I must say I have never physically been in a restricted region so there is that.
According to their TOS using a VPN might be an issue, but not necessarily.



Unfortunately you have done every mistake in the book to be honest. Using VPN, sharing a wifi network, sharing a device and so on. I am surprised they didn't catch up to that faster.

The decision to return deposit or confiscate all of your fund is completely at casino's discretion. Usually, they're more than happy to return deposit if the player is in overall loss, as it's never their intention to "stole" from their player who violate their terms. However, if your PnL is at a profit, they'll most likely confiscate the rest of the fund available on your account to recuperate the damage happened from the violation.

This case shows the difference between a good casino and bad casino. A good casino pays out deposits plus winnings for a first time offense. These casinos have the ability to block VPN use. Allowing a person to play while using a VPN is shady if they aren’t paying out.

I am currently trying to contact the authorities in Melbourne actually since EasyGo is the parent company of stake. I've done research and CG wont most likely be able to do anything for me according to some people I talk to who had similar situations as me. I will definitely keep you updated.

That's a very interesting move, it will be the first time I heard of such kind of action against them. You already have a lawyer there? I think you will need at least some articles of newspapers showing EasyGo and the big guys living there are the actual de facto leaders of the casino and not some whoever figureheads instead. Because it's a bit complicated to understand which company owns what and makes what in this offshore entity tbh.

It genuinely worked btw. They responded and said all restrictions have been removed from your account as a courtesy. Something along the lines of that I was seriously shocked all I did was threaten them basically with the local authorities. I have withdrawn the 72k and the account has full access back I'm not sure though If I will use Stake again after this situation but I genuinely thought this money was a lost cause I seriously thank everyone who gave advice. I personally don't think to anyone reading this that I would recommend this platform after this experience though definitely need to find something more regulated and safer for highrollers who become profitable.

You can submit all the evidence on your OP such as screenshot of conversation with Stake containing the statement that you post it on the bolded part.

I’m skeptical to believe easily on this kind of narrative.

It genuinely worked btw. They responded and said all restrictions have been removed from your account as a courtesy. Something along the lines of that I was seriously shocked all I did was threaten them basically with the local authorities. I have withdrawn the 72k and the account has full access back I'm not sure though If I will use Stake again after this situation but I genuinely thought this money was a lost cause I seriously thank everyone who gave advice. So the local authorities worked for you? Did you bribe them, actually, or what? Did you file a complaint against Stake to the authorities, or was it just a discussion between you and the authorities? I am surprised how it ended up. Mostly, once the casino suspends the account and confiscates the funds, they even go to court and fight against the player. But if you are telling the truth, it means they had something very bad in mind when they suspended your account. It proves that not only you but there might also be hundreds of players whose accounts may be suspended by the stake. Just because they did not file a complaint or were not able to threaten them, they did not get their money back.

Yeah sounds a bit off for sure but I am glad that OP got his money (if what he says is true). But I think threatening with authorities doesn't really bother any casino. If they would bother that would open up every single dispute to this kind of solution which is obviously not in their or on any casinos interest.

But anyway, since the case is resolved @OP should close this thread and also mark it as resolved so other people can it.
Good luck if you keep gambling and also read the rules before playing about possible VPN or "1 player per household" limitations, just to avoid any problems.

The most weird story I have heard with this casino, if it's true it's very concerning, they know they are not respecting australian laws and they are affraid of that? It sounds very unfair for other people who didn't threat them and lost very large amount of funds, sometimes all their life savings.

Don't spread fake news in the scam accusations section please, writting random statements in your ToS doesn't mean you are covered by the laws of the country from where you're operating. You can say any BS you want in your ToS and this is what are doing too many offshore casinos unfortunately, but most countries have laws protecting consumers and fairly regulating commerce in general.

It seems you haven't read the last posts of OP above, because his case has been incredibly resolved after few threats of filing a complaint against the casino nearby australian authorities, according to him. And he has already been able to withdraw all his $72k bag at to get back a full acces to his account without giving any other documents. It's the first time I hear such a thing to be honest but there is no need to escalate the issue to Askgambler or CasinoGuru anymore since they don't judge close cases AFAIK.
Actually, he just wanted to upload pictures because some users are asking proofs about that, since it's rather unbelievable.
