I just signed in my telegram to my Laptop right away and i was able to sign up using my mail and password, and the option to chose a username was displayed, but after i sign up, i tried login back but wasn't able to login again. Then I had to check that of my mobile app, it wasn't reflecting the sign up instead i was still having that old numbers instead of the preferred username i chose over the signup moments.

I checked my mail to see if there will be a confirmation code or mail but didn't receive any, at least there should be a confirmation link or codes.

It's a system bug that we're currently fixing because registering with an email shouldn't be allowed (since it's a Telegram casino that automatically handles registration through the Telegram ID). Moreover, there's no valid reason to register with an email.
