having trouble syncing the wallet.
Added all the nodes listed here even after downloading the blockchain no sync!
I am 2 days behind.

i removed the ports.
The debug logfile still shows the port.

Do shortcut on your office and in property add this : fedoracoin-qt.exe add -reindex
add space and -reindex after he sync.

To me when looking at the debug.log it seems quite clear that the wallet is unable to contact the nodes because they are offline e.g.

last time this node was online 119.5 hours ago.

Ok it is working now.

Let me explain what happened.

With only addnodes in the fedora config file the fresh installed client would not sync, no matter what addnodes are in the fedoraconfig file.
In each step i deleted the peers.dat as well.
Then i downloaded and installed the blockchain (it came with a peers.dat file).
Same problem, no sync.
Then i tried to re-index, same problem.
Then i removed my previous addnodes and added the new ones from testbug.
This caused a Wallet crash upon startup (always).
Had to delete fedoraconfig file to recover from wallet crash.
Then i copy&pasted from fortune-gold and BAM instant connect and fast sync!!!

I suspect that because i did not have any of these:
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=randompassword
rpcport=22888
gen=0
server=1
daemon=1

have caused the problem....

EDIT: The BTER deposit service has been restored since ~11th March and is working flawless since then has been working flawless until about 30min after I posted this message.

I agree completely about getting TIPS on even more exchanges, however most require a website and a working block explorer to list coins and we probably need to tackle these issues first before approaching other exchanges.

I think we can present a working blockexplorer in the early days of next week

So BE should be coming next days too.

Missing website is a problem though, agreed and the problem regarding lost access to domains hasn't been resolved yet.

Guys after getting the latest chain I am only 6 days behind on my wallet but have 0 active connections.

I tried to follow the above but I dont have fedoracoin.conf file in wallet, do you mean the peers file?

Yes, any truly respectable coin needs to be traded on 3 exchanges at a minimum, preferably more.  Look what happened to Mincoin when the only exchange it was traded on closed down, (i.e. Crypsy / Mincoin = 0).
