Why don't you rest? You've been on this forum for a little less than three years, and you're still surprised that the price of any cryptocurrency can change by 10% or 20% in 24 hours? This is completely normal, especially in the current circumstances - get used to it.

I will continue to hold, will not sell any until we go past $100k again, it is just very draining lately.

$100k is just a psychological limit and unless you sell large quantities I don't see why it would matter. Theoretically $100k may not happen for months or ever - does that mean you'll hold forever?

I just didnt expect Bitcoin to be this volatile in peak bull run year. To pump up 10% and then dump 10% in the space of 24 hours is a lot for BTC.

You can say it’s normal , and it would be with bad news BTC falling 10% in such short time but its pure manipulation going on right now. There was no bad news to make it fall like that yesterday, everyone has known about the tariffs for weeks now.

It has just been a long 3 years since I started in crypto, 90% of it has been bear market and manipulation.

Will be good to finally sell all later this year and have a good break from it till the next bear market lows

I tend to agree that what happened in 48 hours was not normal compared to Bitcoin's performance in the past months, just like events like when the COVID19 pandemic was announced, but it will not affect the long-term trend.

you will find hundreds of reasons for this manipulation and still the long-term trend for the coming months is to break the $107k levels (unless something very bad happens)

Why is everyone getting themselves into unnecessary panic all because of Trump's recent coin which he launched, we have to know this that even if it wasn't launch, things will always be as usual with the crypto markets by their ways of being volatile, we are going to have more reasons for this even if the incident of Trump coin was not involved, this same way the market have always played during a particular season.

This is not about the shitcoin Trump launched; this is about his influence in the market. Trump is, to some extent, being just Trump in this market. Keep the fucked-up shitcoin (Trumpcoin) aside. What happened in the market yesterday was not about his meme coin. I see some level of market manipulation.

Bitcoin is volatile; nobody will argue against that, but the pump that took Bitcoin to the level it reached yesterday and the drop that happened today is a clear indication of a shady market that's not just a normal market movement.

I understand your point as well from this, which I think we are all saying similar thing, but we need to also have it in mind that we are not only having a single whale that controls the market, the same way we are not going to take on a single direction while speculating for the market and the cause, because I can remember recently that the fall of the market was due to the announcement made on the Canada and Mexico tarrif plan increments, now we are on it again, saying it's a sort of manipulation, despite we all understand this a volatile digital currency, Trump has not cleared the air yet, because he's not been specific about his crypto reserve whether it may even be on bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency, but I agree with you that the news trend can make a deliberate impact on the market just as we already had, all these are showing for more indications that we still have all time high ahead, yet to come in this bull season.

I understand there are corrections on the way up in a bull run but I just didn’t think a 11% move up then a 11% move down the following day was normal.

So did you see a chart that moves up and down within several seconds or minutes and complete its task to do both Short liquidation and Long liquidation. It happens in Bitcoin market and you just missed them or did not notice carefully enough. Here you are talking about daily movement up and down, that is less severe and painful than example I gave.

Another example to calm you down, but you can see it in my previous post as well.

Last cycle, Bitcoin had 7 brutal corrections:

-17%, -17%, -32%, -26%, -28%, -51%, -25%

Every dip felt like the end. Every crash had people screaming “bear market”

The moment you want to invest in Bitcoin, you should be ready to get frustrated because people with larger shares will always be the ones controlling the market, and the manipulation started a long time ago, and that is why everyone will need to just accept the market the way it is, because if you want to worry about the market you will only end up given up there are so many circumstances that you will want to give up but when you stand your grounds because you know what yo want just makes everything more easy for you. After all, that is one of the mistakes people make.

we know there is market manipulation and people will do exactly what they want because of how they are holding the larger share in the market and there is a lot of opportunity when you have patience that is what a lot of people lack but when you eventually choose a direction then it will be of great help because the longer you start the more opportunity you meet on the way.

I have witnessed about two Bitcoin bull market cycle and I'm not really that worried about the short term market volatility, we saw something like this happened in the last bull market of 2021, where Bitcoin reached $64k during the initial leg up and dumped way back to $28k. There are situations I'm currently watching, regardless of the news or any events witnessed recently,  I'm being patient with my portfolio until the fundamental holders of Bitcoin begins to change.

The pump is now happening again and bitcoin has claimed back up to $88K after the sudden dump in less than 24 hours from now. No one will believe the market is not manipulated. From good news to bad news and the market keep reacting to all of them simultaneously, this is very unclear and there is more to this that we can only hear about Trump crypto reserve and tariffs plan on other countries.

Now, every news that is coming from Trump now looks like the market will always obey, either good or bad news and that’s how far the crypto market has been consumed more by the political power of Trump been the president of the United States. Promises are what everyone is after, hope he gets to fulfill what the promised the crypto community about bitcoin. Many hodlers have faith in him to not disappoint them.

I don't know why people are Panicking about Bitcoin these days, why are we acting like we are not real investors, we are talking about Bitcoin here and we know what Bitcoin is, Bitcoin is an unpredicted investment we know that the market can change at any time, Bitcoin is not up to 80k before and it has to pass 100k before so we should not allow anything other things to distract us from what we are doing, I have seen many people complain about Trump and some people decide to sell their coin.

No coin will be better than Bitcoin when it comes to trust and good market cap, Trump coin can never affect Bitcoin, if anyone decides to hold or wants to sell that is their choice but we should know that Bitcoin will still rise and rise more than before so we should not panic about anything happen now and from my observation, I don't see anything wrong with Bitcoin price because it is just going up and down.

In times like these, it helps if you just distance yourself from the charts. That's if you're hodling and looking at the long term. If you're a day trader, however, these might be great times, provided you can ride the volatility well, of course.

I'm just a little bit sad that Bitcoin's price is easily affected by shallow statements of personalities that aren't even real Bitcoin supporters, statements that have nothing to do with Bitcoin itself. It seems Bitcoin is losing its revolutionary aura. Something doesn't feel great when the price of something that represents a decentralized, independent, neutral technology can easily be manipulated by fiat people and institutions that represent the status quo.

It is quite unfortunate when the price of Bitcoin starts to improve suddenly broken due to some statements that have nothing to do with Bitcoin and those who play in it are just people who are trying to manipulate the market.

This is a game played on the fundamentals of the market and certainly affects how the price chart moves, but it also depends on the technical data that has been presented.

Now the crypto market is really hard to predict and the trend is always changing, Many of these ones play the market especially institutions and governments, They don't stay silent and just want to buy cheaper when a lot of people panic when the decline happens.

I invested for the long term in Bitcoin and some altcoins and I am aware that the shock is enough to shake the psychology of some people, But I continue to buy gradually and I believe this market turmoil will end soon and will see a new ATH next with an amazing FOMO, just be patient and wait for that time to come.

The reserve news was a big one and market reacted to the news accordingly but a small correction is permanent after every big pump due to news therefore I think this dump we are seeing now is a correction and if now market goes back to $94k range the chance for it to go higher are more.

I hope it will recover soon because we all are facing lose. The tariffs can be a good step or bad in many ways no comment on that.

When a government like the United States announces a crypto reserve, it is naturally going to create a pump as people speculate on the potential effects of a powerful nation state acquiring Bitcoin. On the opposite end we have tariffs, which cause investors to move away from riskier investments due to uncertainty about the economy.

The crypto reserve is 100% manipulation, because there was no logical reason for Cardano and Ripple to be included. The tariffs, however, were not intended to manipulate the market, it is just a very risky strategy that Trump wants to implement to strengthen the U.S.’s position over its trading partners.

If you feel really tired, you can leave the market for a while and set your alarm so you can return to market when the price almost reach your target. You don't have to follow market fluctuation because that can make you feel sad, tired, frustrate and other bad feeling.

Even if the market get manipulate, you can not do anything and rather than you piss off with the market, it is better you take a rest and forget everything for a while. Let the market move like that and not disturb your minds.

Everything will be normal and you need to calm down yourself.

We know how does powerful names can make a change with the market, every time they make a speech, supporting projects and etc. that is related into crypto for sure there's a high chance it will make a price movement, now this could be a strategy of others they wait for the news and it depends on it if they will buy its just like getting wait for the opportunity to make an early entry and then make a small profit gains with this price action. This is how scalpers makes earning with the market, now if you are in a long term investor I guess you don't need to get worry much about this because you are way far from your goal, you know your plan already when to sell and to buy now if you see a potential with the market are you doing to skip the chance?, for some reason others will say no of course. If you ask me, I will tell you that we're going to face a worse market manipulation in the future since the institional investors and powerful investment organization (BlackRock, Fidelity) are the key player in this current market. For the record, these people are smart and good in making things work for their favor. Besides, if i were you guys i wont dare to have  any of my BTC on CEX.

If you understand charts very well, you would discover that the surge caused by Trump's tweets didn't close down properly at the bottom and that left a sort of gap price must seek out. I wasn't surprised that price went back to that region it took off from. It's a normal sequence for correction. Price doesn't dance around too much without closing available gaps. It's momentarily and that's why I won't panic whenever market takes a down turn. I know Bitcoin is still in an up trend. Any seeming dump shouldn't be taken as a call to short for a long term.

True, there can be possibilities that there are some political factors affecting the Bitcoin's price that really fluctuate lately. but we know what we signed up for since this Trump regime,  expect things like this because it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Although we pray that Bitcoin's price does not drop more, and whatever the Trump administration is doing to secure people's interest in Bitcoin, they continue with it. People usually enter and live in the market with Bitcoin price chart. They can watch it lively minute to minute until they are tired enough to leave the computer and the screen. It's not good practice and is not helpful for their investment or trading, but let be clear I don't advice trading here.
