XRP lawsuit is finally over - how high can it go this year?

What does everyone think for the potentinal now with XRP for rest of this year? It hit a high of $3.30 a few months ago so i see no reason why it can't get to at least $6-8 now that it has been cleared. I have even heard some say it can hit $15 but I'm not sure about that.

Since the market reaction proves that Ripple (XRP) was around $3 a few months ago, I believe that at least Ripple (XRP) can get the price back to that area in the near future, for the rest of this year prediction of $6 - $8 also sounds quite reasonable because the hype base & the problem with SEC is finally over.

But on the other side, I agree with @pooya87 opinion, Ripple (XRP) is actually just a shitcoin with a large holder base, so it's only a matter of time until all the hype ends & their new investors get REKT in the future.

Everyone kept on claiming that SEC situation would make it better, but it's already done and what is done already is priced in already, so I do not see how that would impact the future. Three dollars could make sense considering it reached there, something closer to even four dollars could be reasonable too, but six and eight seems way too much. One of them is nearly double the all time high price, and the other is nearly triple, that is not likely and we won't see that happen.

We won't see XRP go up that much, it will not be a simple solution and we will end up with much worse results for the future. Three dollars is the high point, the peak, and that is what it will become for the longest time, nothing more.

It is not about how high XRP can rise, but the market economy is facing a restructuring, and cryptocurrency will become the first step in globalization. If you only look at cryptocurrency in terms of money, then everything is just on the surface.

You're thinking too much about it. I know that things can be possible for the crypto market and these prices can be moved due to volatility.

But there are many factors that you have to consider. The total supply is quite high for this coin and if you're going to think of these prices, you'll need to recalculate how much it needs for it to reach that price.

$15 is too high for a 58.1B circulating supply coin while it's got a total of 100B for its entirety.

I feel its normal to wonder how high an investment can reach this year especially after it being held back for many years.

It reached $3.30 back in December, so i dont see why it cant at least double that now that the lawsuit has been dropped and likely ETF coming for it soon also.

Yeah, it's normal to speculate that high but you shouldn't go far in the reality that if that is to happen. The possible time will take longer than you can possibly imagine.

Well, that's possible to double at the end of the year and let's see if it will be doubled by any point of this year. I am not discouraging you but I am only stating what I think about it.

Because before, I've thought of the same for some other projects and I have failed myself, my own expectations.

Ton increased more than XRP in the last week, hell the memecoin PEPE increased more, so we could safely assume that this news made no difference to it. Something that could make it 10, 15 dollars is not a news that will be in effect months later, if it was a big deal then it would have made it go up and it didn't.

So when you think of how unimportant the news is, or how the market didn't even reacted to it, we could safely assume that nobody really cares about it and the price won't grow at all. I can see why you would imagine the world would care and the market would react, because it is a big deal for XRP, but we don't care since it is a centralized project that is propped up by the company behind it, nothing more.

I agree it has been a let down the price action since this news a few days ago.

It is supposed to be a big deal, but the price action has not reflected that at all.

I do think it will see $5 in the next few months , but expected it to pretty much hit that on the back of this news but all it did was pump about 12% and come back down again.

Really confused to what is going on here, XRP was almost at $3 3 weeks ago and i thought this news would have taken the price well past $3 but it has done nothing this week.

I will still hold, but don't get why the price action has been so poor, this is supposed to be massive news but does not feel like it right now.

It has been explained before, the price of XRP wasn't tied to this news and it never really cared. You think there were tons of people who were outside of XRP and not invested because of this lawsuit and then when it is over they would all jump in? Of course not, the XRP situation is a lot different.

The reason why it didn't move, is because people who like XRP already invest into it, and people who think it is a scam (like me) thinks that this news changes absolutely nothing because it is still a scam by Ripple. So whoever is in it, are the people who will keep on investing into it. Don't worry, it could still go up, you could buy more and make it go up, it is just that people who are out, are out, and we won't go in because of some news.

I got in below $0.50 so I won’t be buying any XRP ever again, it’s too high for me now.

I just find it strange how it saw better pumps in 2023 and last year - this was supposed to be massive news the case ending but it has done nothing at all to the price which makes me feel this is not as big as many say it will be.

I know the whole market is down right now but many say XRP does its own thing but clearly it doesn’t.

You hear all these crazy price predictions and I just don’t see it happening , I think soon as it gets to $6 I am out as that will be a 12x for me. I can then put all my profit into Bitcoin maybe.

But for me I don't want to hold this coin but rather will just use it for transaction, because what I like about XRP is they are fast and transaction fee is so cheap.

What do we call cheap opportunity? The ones we're not making any solid plans against. XRP total accumulate value to the market is 99,98B XRP and this is huge for anyone thats targeting to burn this token. We know a token like XRP will not be easy to be burned since most of the holders are patient category of investors that have higher hopes on this project. XRP lawsuit been over and its good news for the holding this particular token and also having higher hopes when it comes to the bullish sector of this project. There's more to accomplish when we're sparkling with our strategies in the market. The current market price of XRP is $2.37 and this is definitely a way to go through a path.
