The United States and China are indeed experiencing a very fierce trade war at this time so that both have increased import tariffs on goods in order to be superior in terms of global trade. But I do not doubt China's steps because at this time they are also quite advanced in various things so that they will never be afraid to continue to fight back in terms of trade. Although on the one hand I also salute the steps taken by the United States, but for now any market conditions are not good because import tariffs on goods have soared quite high from before.

The difference is, USA has money, not products, while they do look like they are selling stuff, but they are not. What they are "selling" is oil, gas, basic energy stuff, so you could just build your own version of renewable energy and get rid of them if you ever wanted, and not like they are getting oil from their own backgrounds, some they do, but some they just get from Arabia and assume that's fine.

And they have been dragging when it comes to who is leading and leaving it to me. I will say China is more muscular in the economy than the US because when you talk about production for a very long time now, they have been industrious, and there is nowhere you go that you don't see products from China, and people have to copyright them, and their youth are also engaged in different sectors. This is one of the reasons they keep growing because their youths are also in all of the countries' affairs, and if they are both increasing tariffs, then there is going to be a long one because when it comes to technology, the US is nowhere near the Chinese, and even Japan is crazy in technology, and I don't know why Trump is acting reckless. Because other people have more resources than him, the purpose was to create a partnership.

As it stand today we can say China is ahead of US, but because many people are used to the  say that Us is the strongest economy. But China is doing well in every area you can think of, the have the population to sell whatsover they produce in china, that is why they are not bothered about any country that doesn't believe in their products. But for reall china products are the best now, they have really improve in making a good produce.

The best economy does not need to be the largest, but needs to ensure factors such as economic growth, per capita income, investment environment and especially the quality of life that people receive. According to some reports, countries like Denmark, Norway or Singapore are the ones that meet the above requirements and have the most even development, although they are not the countries with the largest economies.

What dependency? There is no dependency and instead I call it mutually beneficial bilateral trade cooperation. China needs a large consumer market like the US and vice versa, the US needs a large amount of goods to consume, they are cooperating. That is why when the trade war happened, it caused serious damage to Chinese exporters but at the same time, consumers in the US also suffered the most.

Which source says China wants to invite the US to sit down and discuss tariffs? If China was scared and wanted to make concessions, it wouldn't retaliate against Trump's tariffs. According to the news I know, both sides are open and willing to negotiate to find a common solution to the tariff situation, but it seems that neither side wants to give in first.

You also need to look for GDP in which PPP is used for the estimate. Things are expensive in United States but which are not expensive in countries like China.

They are referring to GDP in which nominal value is used. Although, it is what most countries recognized but it is still worth referring to PPP also.

While the United States is rated the highest economy if being capitalized in the nominal GDP, it is of it credentials of business attractions with good convenient atmosphere infrastructure leaving economic freedom for foreigners with it dollar (USD) potential influence as the world primary traditional currency for reservations with lot of it robustic diversification infrastructures.

Personally,I see USA as the best economy with a GDP of 30.34 billion dollars.Even with the economic strength struggles and financial collisions,it has been able to maintain this reputation and rank.
In between,China and Japan have very competitive forces altogether,China is likely determined to overshadow USA in the future but I doubt the effectiveness of that opinion.

What USA took a century to build, Trump is irresponsibly putting at stake along 4 years... USA made outstanding progress by partnering with other countries and by importing specialized labor force.

America just managed coming first because they attracted genius minds from different countries to work for them. An example are the german scientists after the war.

I don't know if we should really go by the numbers and data because it's obvious that the US and China are two of the best economy in the world. Specially China who might have been risen in the last 20-30 years to become a superpower in terms of everything, from technology to their economics while US trying it's best to stay at the top and probably this is the main reason why Trump wanted the tariffs and everything to bully most countries and send a message.

Nevertheless, we have seen the response of China and they are not going to back down. I have seen a lot of Chinese in social media being nationalistic and doesn't like what Trump is doing. And so with this tariff war, there are no winner, on the contrary, the world is now is chaos because of this.

I'd argue on the basis of debt neither of the 2 largest economies are the finest or best economy.   The most reasonable explanation for large amounts of debt is that it is hopefully justified in future investment;  the present tactic has to be to run continual deficits and ever larger debt burdens.
   This is a plan for self destruction by one generation hoping the next will defuse the problem, yet we are to discuss the 'best'  so this is almost comedy to me.

Best of a nation is its people, the great capacity they have for growth and industry is amazing.  Possibly China or USA are the best, if its just the people I would agree that's a fair discussion but if we include government its soon much diminished imo.

Best economies are also having the greatest debts in the world, so don't be delusional with the trillions, there are countries who are no where in the list are having better benefit like free health care, better roads, employment opportunities, etc.

When we talk about good economy generally, it is only the United States of America and China that has the most successful economy and top all the other countries in technological advancement. I don’t know if what you’d look into the grade this two countries and that which makes one of them ahead of the other is the correct metric to use to ascertain the country with the best economy, but when this two are compared, it just has to be and head to head battle between them before getting the country with the best economy in all ramifications.

These two countries happen to be on a big war now about tariffs. United States of America are trying to make it hard for China but they happen to be a country that are not scared and will respond back immediately with what the United States is using to fight them. It is going to be a long trade war as it looks, although I hear that the Hnited States of America are open for negotiation with them but I don’t know how feasible it is.

From my understanding, that is on something contrast not to have some good economical backgrounds, because of how the governors of the country is, for me I will say that that China have good economy and united of America also have good economy, but the question is not something that we shall discuss by assumptions, because the way we are discussing about these, I believe we need to make a research about GDP of top five countries to know the country that have highest economic research.
