Have several criteria about poor person and each of them have difference ways for advising, if poor people come from poor environments, they must dare to leave that zone and seek better opportunities elsewhere with greater income potential in the future. Although it is a bit odd to talk about the topic title, but if I present my personal opinion here, the first thing I will say is that if a poor person wants to be successful or rich in life, he must first learn money management, what I mean is how he can spend less money or keep it as per his needs.

My one cent opinion is; be as humble as you can as long as you're poor, don't try to impress anyone with the little you've got. once your known for been yourself and never trying to impress anyone the idea of expectations from you will gradually die and you will become free to do whatever at your will without people expecting anything from you and it makes you free with yourself.

I noticed that some users suggested to "dream big", aim for the moon etc., but I'll have to say the exact opposite. Set realistic expectations that can be achieved. Setting goals that are unlikely to become a reality will disappoint you, on top of that, not everything revolves around money, setting a goal to become rich is not only unrealistic (not saying it's impossible, but unlikely for most of us), but also extremely materialistic. The point in life isn't to accumulate as much money as possible, but to use money for what it is, a tool to make our lives more comfortable.
