Am surprised you didn't add Bitcoin to the list, do you think Bitcoin is not an asset that is worth diversifying your income to? You didn't also mention real estate as well, seem to me that you only mention bond and stock because you had preferred them to others. Anyways, everyone have their individual choices but Bitcoin is really what many people are diversifying to become the interest is higher than those other one you mentioned.

What really happened is that when people do not know the value of Bitcoin they don't really put their interest to it, usually Bitcoin is worth investing provided that such person can hold for long, although the above mentioned assets are also good for him but I think that is what he believed on than Bitcoin.
Until he try and invest on Bitcoin to enjoy his dividends he would never enjoy how the market works, but one thing for sure is that investing on Bitcoin is always profitable than those once he mentioned.

The thing you need to understand about Bonds is before you consider it you need to also consider how it works in your country and see if you are satisfied with it.
Like you rightly said it is low risk but is it actually even worth checking out?
In my country it is also low risk but we have issues like inflation and our local currency devaluation that makes it worthless in the long run.

Bonds are losers in the long run. If you aim to have a long term compounding passive income engine, keep bonds at minimum.

Dividend stocks are where the game is at.

Add some REIT’s to have some diversification but not too much.
