What are these odds on Kicktipp? They are a lot different than bookie's odds.
I assume they are aggregated pool choices? If so, we're really going for favorites to win in this round

After 5th goal I already started looking what was their biggest defeat ever. They lost to Man City in Champions League 7:0 few years back, but in Bundesliga they never had such big loss. In Bundesliga they had few 5:1 losses. Well, playing open football against Bayern is suicide. With parked bus they probably would had conceded less.

But to be honest here, if anyone was at 15+ points now, something must have been wrong with that person Leverkusen loses at home against Hoffenheim (which I took as one of the teams being relegated...). Union beats Stuttgart. Freiburg gets destroyed by Augsburg. Dortmund loses a 3-1 lead in the last five minutes of regulation time. 9 points for Kanapda are not even bad given these results.

Imagine me choosing Leverkusen even in the cross league madness  I'm angry with Ten Hag. However, this season begins with an ongoing disaster for three specialists at once - Ten Hag, Amorim, Simeone.
As for the round, it is very tight because the favorites except Bayern fell, even the difference between first and last place is not so big to worry about. Congratulations to the winners!

the scoring system at kicktipp is indeed slightly different from that at superbru, and it's like this:

2 points for the correct tendency (example: predicted 3-0 - result 1-0)
3 points for the correct goal difference (example: predicted 2-0 or 1-1 - result 3-1 or 3-3)
4 points for the correct result (example: predicted 3-0 - result 3-0)
bonus picks: 4 points per correct bonus pick

Yes I mean this was a round where you could really get ahead, but you would have had to take risk that ruins your scores in the long run. Though to go against all those apparent favourites, but I really think that a few guys in our pool here will adjust expectations from Bayer Leverkusen. I don't think this was an accidental glitch, I think they are seriously weakened compared to the last two years. it is not only the players that left, but someone like Boniface who was in great shape 18 months ago is now a candidate who is prone to frequent injuries and their number 3 striker only. The whole team was torn apart in the last two months.

You never really know about Freiburg, could be anything. What I also doubt is that Kovac's success with Dortmund from last season made any real sense that would carry over into this season. I don't think so. Kovac and the team got lucky. Now let's see for how long he will be the Dortmund coach.
