Landing on the homepage, I saw vibrant colors and attractive images which made the overall UI sleek and elegant. The look and feel was very intuitive and visually appealing. The homepage displays all the essential features. One of them was the emphasis on high rollers which is strategically placed to attract the high rollers. The footer of the homepage provides valuable resources like the responsible gambling section, self exclusion program etc... which are necessary for gamblers who want to take a break from gambling. Also, there's a link to verify the transaction fees for deposit and withdrawals which shows the transparency of the site. There was also a bug bounty program in one of the pages on the footer which was nice to have.

Signup and Login
I wasn't registered on Cloudbet and so I proceeded with the registration process. Not sure if others faced the same issue but for me when I submitted the signup form, the page just refreshed and did nothing. When I logged in, I was welcomed by a dark hue dashboard very much like what is obtainable in most casinos. The Cloudbet team did a great job of leaving a new player in no doubt about what is expected of them at this point. This is obvious from the prominence of its $2500 Welcome package with  button asking the user to “deposit to unlock.” As if this is not enough, there is another button at the top right corner of the website labelled "Rewards" and “Unlock Now”. A third button on the dashboard asks users to add funds.


I’m aware this is the usual strategy of casinos to get people to make deposits as soon as possible but I wasn't in a hurry to do this without checking out the casino’s Terms of Service. If you’ve been around this forum for sometime, you would agree with me that most of the reported issues against casinos here stem from users being ignorant of casino ToS or the casinos trying to take advantage of missteps of players.

A Typo in ToS

I found the platform's Terms of Service at the website’s footer under “Legal”. Article 7.1.9.  The ToS says that

‘’You will inform us as soon as you become aware of any errors with respect to your account or any calculations with respect to any bet you have placed. We reserve the right to declare null and void any bets that are the subject of such an error.”

Since I’m now signed up and an error is an error, I decided to take the Cloudbet team to a typo in section 7.1.6.



A Deposit of 1 mBTC

Section 8.6 of the Cloudbet Terms of service states:
“When given a bonus, you must make a deposit of at least 1 mBTC or currency equivalent before you can make a withdrawal from any winnings you may receive.”

I suppose that this also includes the attractive welcome bonus of up to $2,500. This didn’t sit well with me since I wasn't sure what this meant at that point. In retrospect, I think many newbie players may also be oblivious that this is less than $3. I thought that the section is mandating folks to deposit more than they may have planned just because they were given a bonus. I decided to contact support to be sure.

Cloudbet Live Chat Experience

I needed to confirm the implication of this section of the Cloudbet ToS, so I decided to contact the support. The live chat icon can be found prominently displayed at the website’s footer.



I simply asked about my concern:

“Hello, I just signed up, and your ToS stated that 'when given a bonus, you must make a deposit of at least 1 mBTC or currency equivalent before you can make a withdrawal from any winnings you may receive.'”Could you explain it further? I mean, does it mean that if I make a deposit now and I'm awarded the Welcome package, I'd have to make another deposit before making a withdrawal?”

And got a response from a bot with a prompt to connect to an agent. After clicking the “Connect to agent” button, I waited close to an hour to be attended by a Cloudbet support desk agent, but there was no response. This is despite the fact that the platform claims its live chat responds “under a minute”. Even with my questions unanswered, I decided to look round the casino and possibly play a few games for the purpose of this review.

Looking Around the Casino

Cloudbet has an impressive array of games that players can choose from. Available categories include live dealer games, slots, baccarat, video poker, bingo and keno. Folks can also access its sportsbookand esports. I was impressed to see it has crash games since this is what I had interest in playing.

A Response at Last

Clicking on the "Add funds" icon at the top of the website, I was in the process of making a deposit when the Cloudbet customer desk responded. This must be close to 2 hours after my initial query. Even then, it was merely a casual response. In any case, I was glad they responded at all. Here is the explanation regarding the Cloudbet ToS in question. According to the support agent,

“The only way to earn funds on the welcome package is to make a deposit and play; otherwise, you won't earn anything from the welcome package. This is what it means; it is just stating the minimum deposit.”

A Better Job By Cloudbet AI 

I wanted to be sure, so I continued with the deposit procedure to add funds. On second thought, I decided to close the chat and try again since not every representative may give the same answer. In the new chat, surprisingly, Cloudbet AI, which couldn’t figure out the answer during our first conversion and recommended a human agent, seemed to have woken up. It stated:

“No, you won't need to make another deposit. The rule you quoted applies to traditional bonuses, but our Welcome Package works differently.The Welcome Package activates with your first deposit and provides real cash rewards with no wagering requirements. Since these are cash rewards rather than bonus funds, the 1 mBTC minimum deposit rule doesn't apply to Welcome Package winnings.Y our initial deposit satisfies any withdrawal requirements for the Welcome Package rewards you'll earn.”

This obviously made more sense than its first result and the one I got from the human agent. So I proceeded to add funds. As a side note to the Cloudbet team: not everyone would have hung on to clarify a second time from your AI or human agent. Deposit was seamless and instant and can be viewed in real time via the deposit window pop-up.



I had to refresh my browser to confirm that the fund was in my account. Interestingly, after making the deposit, a new pop-up window gave me the option of using the platform in ghost mode or community mode, which the platform recommends for obvious reasons. I expected to see a new notification about the Welcome Package but saw none.


Playing Crash Game On Cloudbit

The first crash game I tried to play on Cloudbet is Speed Crash Dare2Win from Hacksaw Gaming. The game had a slow loading time, so I waited for about 10 minutes before refreshing the browser. Still slow loading, I decided to play another crash game. This time I opted for NinjaCrash from Galaxsys. Same result, which is rather unusual. I had to switch to my phone to see if any of the games would load and allow me to place a bet and play.This time I tried the CashIt Multiplier game on my phone. Here’s what I got:



The same 404 page returned for the Dare2Win crash. What’s on my mind right now is how to withdraw my deposit. Good, it was a small amount. I now went to the Reward button on my computer to see how to get my funds back to my wallet. Incidentally, when I clicked it, the welcome bonus was released instead. I also saw that this is the reason why none of the games loaded, as the aviator quickly loaded in the background behind this pop-up message. I then placed bets and played Aviator.



Final Thoughts

Cloudbet seems like an established casino with many games that would interest users. I wouldn’t describe it as newbie friendly, though. Not redeeming the welcome package, for instance, shouldn’t be a hindrance to placing a bet. In fact, the Welcome Package should automatically be credited to the user as soon as they make a deposit. On a scale of 1-10, I rate the casino 5.

Throughout my experience on the casino on several occasions, I have noticed that the site is hanging maybe due to the large traffic from users.

I have tried reloading my browser even to the extent of using multiple browsers just to have a cool experience on the Cloudbet casino. A mobile app will make a compete change making users' experience to be amiable.
