Bitcoin trust is definitely sure for long yet most people were ignorant about bitcoin although being in this category taught a lot about knowledge, knowledge is power reason why few still don’t believe in bitcoin. After making few research about bitcoin I got an idea concerning how bitcoin works basically bitcoin is not a scam viewing the trust gained for so many years or when people speak about believe or trust are they referring to the price fluctuating or what? Bitcoin price is known for volatility definitely the bull run will come secondly bitcoin investment is certain.

What was it for you? What really made you believe in Bitcoin?

What makes me believe in Bitcoin is the outcome of its long-time investment. I was amazed when a friend invested in Bitcoin for a long while, and many of us were critiquing and thinking he was doing the wrong thing,not knowing that his life was about to change.

After selling his Bitcoin, he made a lot of money, so since then, I believe that I will get the same thing one day, and since then, I have ventured into the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency space in large.

When I discovered that Bitcoin can be used as a hedge against inflation, it got my attention.  Keeping money in the bank was becoming a waste because the Naira was losing value. After calculating the profitability of Bitcoin, if it is held for a long time, I had to gain knowledge about it because I don't want inflation to make my fiat lose value over time.

Seriously, saving money you will not be using anytime soon in a bank is a waste of time and also makes no sense to me because the value is not appreciating, and I can say you really made a good decision after some time now. If you invest in Bitcoin for a long time, you will get your money back with profit that you may not have even thought of because Bitcoin keeps appreciating.

The moment you use Bitcoin to pay for something, you will have no choice than to love Bitcoin because it offers a different kind of feeling, and freedom. Bitcoin makes life easier and shields you from the control of the government that wants to monitor and control everyone. I heard about bitcoin long ago during my undergraduate days but I never feel compelled to know more about it as many term it an unrealistic and untrusted venture that you’ll just be risking your money on without benefiting from. It was termed some kind of scam stuff and that stigma of bitcoin was with me throughout until I got to know more about bitcoin through this forum.

Even if I was still persuaded about the relevance and the true potential of bitcoin, after getting to know about this forum, everything changed and I began to see a missed opportunity in the past for me. Even if bitcoin gets to provide more opportunity for people like us, it sometimes hurts a bit not to have been part of it earlier on. Bitcoin is everything to me now as far as financial revolution is concerned and I’ll continue to embrace and share the best parts of being part of this technology.

The same information that propels you here is the root of the reasons why you love and believe in Bitcoin up till now. Bitcoin is more of anti bank operations but widely used and purposeful.

The more I view it as a product, the more buyers the less seller the more appreciation, this idea triggers my believe in it more than anything else.

Yes, it's true that using a bank here in Nigeria is actually frustrating, due to the bad policies and pattern employ by those operating the system, most especially the new method of taxation initiated by the president Bola Ahmed Tinubu that is said to commerce next year 2026. Hence, a more reason why we need to prioritize keeping our huge funds on Bitcoin, rather than leaving it in our traditional banks whose taxes will be extremely high. Despite the fact we can't completely avoid the fiat bank, since thats still the same medium through which we will be able to convert our Bitcoin into fiat. But it's wise we shouldn't keep huge money in it. Since we already have Bitcoin, despite being a volatile digital currency.

What made me believe in Bitcoin is actually because of the core factors to which it stood for. Which is offering us the privilege to have full control over our finances, and likewise give our funds the privilege to have better value in long term, far better if it was held in our fiat traditional banks. Also the edge it gives us against inflation.

The first is when i knew what bitcoin is all about and how that by holding it, i stand to bypass the loss in value that we are experiencing with the Naira. as long as i had bitcoin as an edge agaisnt the devaluation of my naira, that gave me the first guts that got me locked in. the other factors are almost like the first and is associated with the forum and the family i have come to find around the bitcoin ecosystem which has been the driving force that has kept me going. the fact that after every DIP, bitcoin has always found a way to come back again is also another key element that makes me to believe that bitcoin is something to hold and never miss out on.

When I looked back 10 years prior and compared the price of bitcoin then with it's price earlier this year I just knew bitcoin was it. The whole thing about it being decentralised just came as an added bonus on a later date, it felt insane that all I had to do was just be putting money into every now and then and in a few years my profits would be sitting and waiting for me to come and take them. And so far bitcoin hasn't disappointed that narrative yet and hopefully it won't.
So that's more or less why I got interested in bitcoin investment, all it really takes from you is time and dedication on your part and and you will start seeing the growth bit by bit.

It is true, looking at what Bitcoin has achieved from the time of creation and where we are now it really feels good like we already have something to talk about or look  on to, that spark of believe grew deeper on me the moment I saw that Bitcoin is the head, the first and the best among the numerous numbers of other coins in the space of cryptocurrency, looking back the 10 years and we see now I also realize that there is going to be regrets for those who were skeptical or ignored it, I am willing to dedicate the time and play my role now so that I don't feel the regret tomorrow.

As for me, it was realizing that Bitcoin is money that may not be censored or controlled.
And can not be frozen, print more of it, or take decision on who happens to use it. The independence of banks and governments is indeed powerful. The aspect of profit is nice, yet the real worth is in having ownership of a thing that is truly yours.

What made me believe in bitcoin is because i have long been hearing that bitcoin is a scam and that narrative delayed the time i would have started investing in bitcoin but when i got the privilege to join this forum, i discovered that it wasn't a scam as most critics painted it to be and what increased my trust in bitcoin was how the price has been increasing within the years i have been investing in bitcoin and despite some declines it got over the years, it was still able to grow exponentially till date, and has proved critics and doubters wrong that it was never a scam from the origin.

Time is one of the things thst made me to believe Bitcoin so much.  At first when I knew bitcoin it's value was very low and it was being criticized that almost every government was against it and bitcoin was banned in so many countries, the restrictions of bitcoin was very severe. But after sometime I saw how the value was increasing and was also gaining more adoption.  I quickly understand the potential of bitcoin then and I have no choice than to believe in bitcoin.  Before now many people had different understanding of what bitcoin is and the criticism was so much but over time bitcoin prove us wrong and I am sure time is what madd most of us see what bitcoin truly is.

Bitcoin as a digital currency, has so many appealing qualities. It is decentralized, which gives you the full control over your fund as it saves you from the stress of traditional banking, bitcoin is a store of value as the price appreciates over time, and is also an hedge against inflation as it retains the value of your currency. Long time hodling is what make me to believe in BTC, because it hard for me to lose capital when am hodling for long years before I trade. I don't hate bank because of BTC that will not live forever but I like d two to store my money.

U cannot do without bank in d country, because BTC is not a legal tender in d country which u know, but u can do things without BTC in d country. I believe everyone does have that Eureka moment when they realize they have been missing out all along, and they need to act fast. But the problem here is, most people experience that moment after which so much opportunity has passed them by but so long as bitcoin is concerned, nobody is too late to start investing. But fact still remains that alot of opportunities hasn't been utilized well in the past. One of the reason bitcoin standout from other type of investment is the fact that we can actually invest according to our financial strength without being pressured.
On the other hand comparing bitcoin to our fiat system, well the both of them have their merits and demerits, but when the comparison is narrowed down to return of investment,  bitcoin is definitely at the advantaged part.

Ever since I understand how decentralization works, that was when I believed in Bitcoin.
‎Bitcoin isn't controlled by anyone, or manage by any company or any central authority, it's  a pure code that has a mutual understanding among people.
‎The fact that you have all control about your money without seeking for anybody's permission is so cool.
‎I have seen Bitcoin help countries that has unstable currencies or countries with authoritative financial system, people don't just use Bitcoin to invest alone but to survive and become independent, this made me to understand that it's not just a financial tool, it's just about how we see money.
