In sports betting terms, that’s basically like betting against the public, but in your case you’re betting against a workmate instead.

Parlays shouldn’t be counted when we’re trying to evaluate our consistency. Parlays will really make you lose because they’re mostly based on luck. When I’m serious, I measure my success through my win/loss percentage, and that’s only from straight bets.

Lately i’ve been picking just a few games a day, trying to be more careful, but somehow i’m still losing overall. it’s starting to feel like no matter how safe the pick looks, the result just finds a way to flip on me.

Honestly this is your luck at the moment, things can change later on, this is why it is always good to risk very little on such games because the outcome is beyond anyone, funny thing is if someone else place bet on your games they might have different outcomes too, probably win more and lose less compar to your own result, this is gambling, where some will get lucky and some will be less lucky.

You are very lucky for using small amount all along, this is why your loss will be less detrimental.

I doubt changing bookmakers will help, because the new bookmaker will offer the same lineup as the old one, unless you think a slightly different website design will help. After a break, you might return and start over again with losses, sometimes this even happens, and then the emotions return very quickly. In this case, you can play with minimum bets so that it doesn't affect your finances. If you can't figure out the reason for your frequent losses, at least you'll stop losing large sums.

It is not bad to have a phycology or strategy where we can easily overlook gambling loses, if you dwell on your loses no matter how small it can be frustrating. All this is true if you think rationally. But luck is the most important thing here. We are all in this together and don't think that you are the only one getting the same losing streak after depositing multiple times on a casino with the expectation to make money from your bets. I have come to the  conclusion that not every player is going to become profitable from betting. There are people that will make money from their bets and there are also people that will lose so that other can make money. That's the randomness of gambling and it's the hardest truth.

In my opinion considering losses as gifts works for some people who have a high bankroll but not for everyone. Because the mind knows that the money is not a gift, but has gone into the game, I find it easier to decide from the beginning how much I will spend and not worry about it. If I play within that limit I don't have a problem even if I lose. And I consider winning as a bonus, because it is completely a matter of luck. So I don't think much about winning or not, I focus more on enjoying the game. If you take it this way, there is less pressure and it is also fun but at the end of the day, everyone plays to make money.

Man, there are times I usually will have to summon courage before I decide to open my bet history, and this is because almost every bet settled there are loses, makes to begin to doubt myself at times, I feel like maybe this gambling thing isn't for people like me 😁

Alot of times ive gotten angry and decide never to bet again, but I end up saying well, "the money lost isn't a problem, and my main purpose of gambling is simply to have fun, then why am I so bothered I didn't win if winning was never a priority in the first place", I ask myself this question and immediately I realize I shouldn't be angry for not winning, I move on and hope for a better outcome next time even though I always doubt if the next time will be any different 😁

That's a great improvement that you have made for yourself. Back then you were putting too much hope and making plans on something that's not yours yet, which could really be disturbing and have some effect on you, and there could also be possibilities of you staking higher amounts in each of your bets because of how confident you are that the game is going to come out successful, and when it doesn't end that way, you are forcefully thrown into a state of regret and disappointment.

Taking a break doesn’t guaranteed you will stop losing streak since it’s still based on your luck to get a win unless you are playing sports betting which this break might help you to focus again and improve your analysis skills for a chance to boost your winning streak.

I believe too that changing casino can give a change luck direction back in the days when I’m still new gambler but this proven irrelevant since they all offer same games.

What I think important is to stop when you don’t get anymore fun on what you are doing.

As a gambler you can't be too careful not to make losses and some days they happen in streaks even with how safe you go about selecting picks. Can you somee other times try to do things differently by taking risk with those games that appears highly risky perhaps you would have the result in your favour because from what I have observed with all the results of the football games this season in all leagues the underdogs has being getting good results but we gamblers are just scared of picking them most rim
