I've tested several wallets over time. Some good, some I barely used. For the benefit of the newbies amongst us, let's dedicate this thread to recommending really good, trust worthy wallets for gambling, so they don't fall into wrong hands with their first transaction.

For the smaller amount, I think it does not need to do such a big research, every wallet is good, so you can use any one for a small amount as we are recommending this for newbies where they don't deposit much on their first try. However, if they are entering with a high amount, then they must get a hardware wallet for better security. Mostly, I have used and recommend Metamask and Coinbase wallets, they are easy to use, best for gambling, and are non custodial.

There is no such thing as gambling wallets, there are just cryptocurrency wallets.
Most casinos are centralized and have their own integrated wallets, but you should always withdraw coins to your own hardware wallets, that is the best and safest option.

Are you talking about using a wallet to place bets on Polymarket or a prediction market? I believe you should be more specific about what you are trying to ask, just because it's pretty confusing. You don't need a separate wallet when playing at casinos; you need to deposit. Maybe just for the transfers, but still, it's not that critical.

Personally, for prediction markets, I use Base Wallet and Phantom to access some prediction sites and place bets.

Wallets for gambling? Do we have any web3 casino that are that popular we are not aware about. Most casino that make use of wallet don't even use the wallet from funding directly, they only use wallet as an identifier to help you register an account. Anytime you want to login, you have to give permission to connect the wallet if you are willing and the sign to authenticate your connection. Trust wallet is the least wallet for such because it's not an open source.

If you want to make use of any wallet, let it be metamask or Rabby wallet, these two wallet are the best wallets go interaction for any web. However, if you want me to use a casino, don't stress yourself over this web wallets. Register with a casino that has everything in place, if you like use a non Kyc casino to avoid any funny stories later, you will have a better experience gambling than this web3, there is no too much difference for funding and the usual casino deposits.

Multicrypto wallets like Trust wallet is just fine if you're not stocking most of your crypto in there and you only assign specific amounts to gamble. I don't have any problem doing that and I also do that. I think for the others to easier to understand it, just use the popular wallets because problem could occur if you use the unknown wallets and even it's just for transfer purposes, you don't want to experience trouble doing that when you're about to gamble.

It is worth reminding that the wallet for gambling should be separate from the wallet for saving your crypto assets to keep them safe, if it is still together today it is better to separate it today, in order to create limits on your gambling activities to be responsible for the losses.

Usually depending on the casino, they can connect with any wallet, but if they are available to connect Metamask, I will take Metamask as the main choice for gambling because it is much easier for me to use and also the network support is also quite extensive.

I don't think choosing good wallets will affect much because your coins stay longer on the casino's wallet, not your wallet. So, it's suppose the casino to use good wallets in order to prevent from something bad to happen.

Did you even check the link you posted? it's not fully open source, but it's partially open source. Since it's partially, we wouldn't know the other codes inside of this project, hence many people warn for using this wallet.

You’re not really using the wallet for gambling is just you as source of funds for deposit on a gambling casino  and aswell receives the  withdrawal. There’s no big deal with “which” so far you’re not keeping large amount in it.’ I wouldn’t condemn trust wallet on a gambling board but it’s still worth knowing that it’s a closed source wallet and shouldn’t be trusted with your funds.

I really like Metamask. I've been using it for years for small trades, DeFi, and casino use. It's always served me very well and has a simple interface for any crypto user. I used Trust Wallet and didn't find it very good; between it and Metamask, I prefer Metamask.

Another thing is that Trust wallet is completely close source wallet which I can not tell anyone to use.

If you need a wallet to connect to deposit on a web3 gambling sites, there are many of them but which are mostly close source. I will prefer to use the direct deposit instead than to connect such wallet.

Actually, people rarely use Trust Wallet for gambling. I am not saying it is bad as you suggested but for gambling, people mostly use different exchanges from where they can send the coins directly when they need them. I mainly use exchanges while gambling and from there I send different coins to the gambling platform as I wish. Even though I use SafePal wallet, I still like to transfer money from the exchange to the gambling account.

I like to use Rabby Wallet in combination with Pocket Universe. When a website accepts Metamask it automatically connects with Rabby Wallet.

Rabby Wallet already has some protection measures. With Pocket Universe u add another extra layer of protection.

Rabby Wallet is great, a good recommendation. A friend recommended it to me, and since then I only use Rabby Wallet for my web jobs. It supports almost everything, so there's no need to look for another wallet; in my opinion, it's sufficient on its own, a very practical wallet. Definitely one of the best.

I have used trust wallet before, not just for gambling purposes, but to store some of my crypto as it handles a lot of coins.

But I do think for those who just play and gamble with Bitcoin, Electrum wallet might be the best one out there. Lightweight and you have total control of it. You can even adjust how much fees you want to used when you deposited to casinos.

Trust wallet is a good choice in the case of handling only a limited and relatively unimportant amount of money for gambling, because it is a hot wallet, in the end of the day.
Regardless if one is using cryptocurrency as an investment or as a vehicle to be able to gamble on internet casinos, the best option is always to opt for a cold storage. Wallets like those offered by Satoshi labs (Trezor) or Other hardware wallet makers who offer open source products.

Personally, I prefer to use separate wallets for trading and gambling. I don’t want to mix my trading balance with gambling funds, because combining them could easily lead to losing money if things go wrong. Keeping them in one wallet increases the risk of blowing up my trading capital, which I want to avoid.

specially i don’t need to choose wallets for gambling, whatever i am using like wallet or exchanges, i can deposit any cryptocurrency from anywhere, sometimes i deposit from binance exchange, so it’s doesn’t matter which wallet you have,
in the gambling sites you don’t need connect any wallet, so you can deposit from any exchange or wallet,
trust wallet is much reliable and trustworthy, but if have big amount of money, please use hardware wallet.

The question is confusing. I know several casinos where you can use wallet to login such as SolCasino but I'm not sure if you are pertaining about using as login or for storage for your funds.
I'm gonna assume you are pertaining about a storage wallet, its a common knowledge right now that hardware wallets are hands down the best wallet to use for storage but if you don't have the budget to buy one OKX wallet or Rabby/Metamask is just fine you just need to be mindful on sites you connect in.

I don’t connect my wallet directly to casino platforms, I only send coins/tokens to the deposit address provided on my casino account. For me this reduces risk since there’s no wallet approval/smart contract access involved. Connecting wallets can be convenient but for gambling sites I prefer to keep full control & minimise exposure as long as you double check the address & network before sending it’s straightforward & safer especially for newbies.
