If the country that you travelled to is restricted by the gambling site that you are using, know that the gambling site may not work while you are in the country. That should let you know enough that the site is restricting the users from the country from accessing the site.

Read what yahoo62278 posted, I think it is the most useful information that I see on this thread so far. But this is more than reading the casino's terms of service, make sure you contact the gamblling site's customer care about it and let them give you a clear answer of what you should do.

Have you thought about not gambling abroad? I am not sure that when you are travelling, you will visit that country soon again, so wasting time on devices is a good idea. Anyway, when I am abroad, I let casino do all the stuff. If browser opens casino without restriction, I play. If casino page does not open or show that it is not available in your region, I dont get disappointed. Just pause gambling activity. Even if casino flag your for IP change, you dont jump like flea from country to country every day. It wont be hard to explain to support that you were abroad.

Yes, you will be flagged for this, most casinos do finger printing, either IP address or your device. So if something goes wrong on the time and the IP address then they might flag your account for this suspicious activities.

On the other hand, I think this is one reason though that few platforms allows VPN, it's the same reason that most gamblers might be frequent travelers so it's ok for them or allow their customers to go and used VPN.

Such activities look suspicious whenever there is a constant and regular change in IP address. You should be accustomed to your casino policies and also know the restricted jurisdiction, so that you have such information beforehand if it requires you to use their platform from a restricted nation, so you could use a vpn since the majority of the casinos do not bother about the use of vpn.

You can still let your casino know if you change location, asking them to get the required information on how to engage with their services if the need be, since there is a change in IP address, so they do not block your account on the count of it being hacked or whatever.

It will be suspicious indeed, perhaps you will need to go and ask the casino itself and be honest with them and say that you are going to travel and so your IP might be changing from country to country.

Although it doesn't really look good to hear that you are telling everything as we are supposedly (psuedo-anonymous), but I guess it's better to do that as they might ban your account for that suspicious activity.

So at least you have protection in case they renegade on your agreement.

Read the ToS of the casino you are going to gamble on. If there is no clear answer send an email to the casinos support. Have documented permission so they can't fuck you if you win. If they try to, you can post it all here if they use this forum and see how that goes for them.

This right, casino have different ToS when it comes to gambling on restricted country. Some consider the restrictions on location where you gamble and others consider the nationality itself.

I saw many issue like this in the past that foreigners encounter problem by gambling when they are living on the country which gambling is not allowed even though they have ID from different country.

Getting the approval of the support is the right call here since they have better understanding with their ToS.

I don't think this will cause any problems. If you happen to be in a country where the casino isn't licensed, you'll receive a notification that you can't play in that location. But when you return home or to another country where the casino is licensed, you'll be able to play again. At least that's what happened to me, and the same goes for my VPN, I haven't had any problems with any casino I've played at, even when I changed countries, I haven't been blocked.

In my opinion, casinos dont flag or ban without serious reason. If they were flagging gamblers for a slight violation of rules or strange behavior, online casinos would be dead now. It seems that a person must systematically do something wrong to be flagged or be noticed by casino security. Besides, it is casino that need your money, not gambler that need that specific casino to play in. I would be very surprised if casino would flag person and cause him trouble, just because he has accessed casino from locations that was not the place he has registered in this casino.

It's entirely risky to travel to another country and then access a casino with a different IP and then later on it will be a problem that could be a suspension of withdrawals or other problems.

Moreover, US citizens always have special sites created for the country --- so it is impossible for US citizens to access casinos with IPs from other countries? You should know that the US has strict regulations so you need to consider this.

It could lead to suspension and withdrawal issues only if the casino is trying to scam you.
Yes, changing your IP to an IP address, that belongs to a restricted location would definitely trigger the casino's IP blocking systems. You can just send a message to the customer support and they will solve the issue. You are fully KYC verified, which means that the casino has your ID data, even proof of address and all that stuff. The casino knows your citizenship, which means that they know that you don't belong to a restricted country. I don't know how the customer support would react to such issue. Maybe some casinos won't allow their customers to gamble, while being on vacation in a restricted country.

If that IP address doesn't show up as being used by another player then you must be okay!

But then again , it also depends on what policies they have on VPNs as this could be you ticket to use whatever IP you feel like using without restrictions, but if VPNs are a no then you will have some explaining to do and if they are lenient enough you will get out free.

This is actually what I'm thinking about, I mostly use VPN for my work and to access some sites that only certain countries have access to their site only by their residents meaning local IPs and most of the time I used VPN to access it however I sometimes forgot to turn it off and open my browser and I will just notice it when there's a popup that says your IP or account is prohibited and then I turn off my VPN and open it again which I gain access to the site. Now, I'm wondering if they will see it that I changed IP and will it can be used against me to do a KYC as I think they might think that the VPN I used is somewhat my real IP and for them to confirm it is to do KYC.

They can brought these case, I think somehow reading or see somecase like these while the user is taking vacation and accessing from different country. If the site was bad, really bad and you winning bigs + trying to withdraw bigs.

Being a US citizen is not a good example because most crypto casinos prohibit US citizens from using their website. There are some who have a special website for US citizens and if you log in via a non-US IP, you'll be redirected to their main website. The main website and the US websites of the same company are absolutely different websites with different databases.

Btw, if you are a citizen of a country that is allowed to gamble on a crypto website and you travel, then it's 50/50 whether you'll have an issue or not. Many websites automatically block websites from loading when you visit from an IP that comes from a country that's not allowed to gamble. If you log in via an IP that's allowed to gamble, then you shouldn't have problems. I've experienced that a few times when I was using a VPN and I never had a problem but if you win a huge amount of money, like 100K and more, then some casinos can use any past situation as an excuse to ban you but not everyone follows that shady practice.

There's only the things that we should do.

1. Read up their terms and conditsions (If not found)
2. Asking the support itself

We do know that changing IP could be a problem later on specially if you have won some significant amount of winnings on which simply means that it would be that too damn hassle if it happens.
On the moment that we cant be so sure when it comes into a particular scenario then the most ideal way is to ask the support itself because they are the ones would be able to answer it out.

Casinos always monitoring your IP and if you access them through an app, they may also be collect data from your GPS and Wifi networks to determine your geographic location. Obviously, for them to do this, everything needs to be clearly described in the terms of use.

Could this be a problem? It depends... I think there are no problems if you travel to sites where betting is allowed. You just need to be careful if you visit a country where gambling is prohibited. In that case, I think it would be more prudent to use a VPN to your country of origin and also avoid betting in public places, because your biggest problem in this case is not the blocking but a reprimand from local authorities if someone sees you gambling and reports you.

Anyway, you can anticipate the problem... since you said this is a routine habit of yours, why don't you inform support about it before you have problems? But there are so many casino who allow VPN, therefore, going to anohter country is just like using VPN.

Any well built and reputable casino will automatically detect when you are in a region where the casino's operetions or services is restricted and will tell you that your current location is not allowed access to the casino, all you have to do is don't force your way in through the use of VPN or whatever, allow yourself time and when you travel back to where access is not blocked, you can continue gambling on that casino.

Or better still when you are in a country where a casino that operated normally in the US is restricted, there are several other casinos, sign up on one that is fully functional in that region and play there, but ensure to not use big amount of money so you don't trigger their kyc verification system and ensure you withdraw all your money before leaving that region.

But then, to be on the safer side, you can always reach out to the customer care of the casino and let them know that you will be traveling to a different country just incase your ip changes, I think this is the most effective thing to do.
