I think it’s a great idea, especially for people just starting out. It can be difficult to see OG’s getting really rich, simply by just being a lot earlier.

It’s a good idea to look at Bitcoin as a long term investment plan so why not make it part of your pension.

There are several real concerns of inflation, fiat debasement and worldwide uncertainties like war thus should be taken into consideration. Bitcoin can become a hedge in such situations. Nevertheless, I would rather have Bitcoin in a diversified portfolio with other assets. It is necessary to diversify to minimize risk and enhance profitability. It is a nice idea if only bitcoin will keep increasing and how sure are you that you will be able to hold onto that time and remember that bitcoin is not guaranteed to put all your hopes and trust in it.

In my opinion, it's nothing new because many people are already thinking about storing many Bitcoin for the future and even some people are even thinking of storing bitcoins for family member as an inheritance for the person's son or daughter. Well, you can start doing it and it also supports Bitcoin since you are holding it yourself for long term and if many people are doing it then it should help it to increase in price in the future.

This brings my mind down to bitcoin and its growth because since I knew bitcoin it was worth noting, then I had no positive knowledge about bitcoin, now bitcoin has a staggering $95K market value and it is growing nonstop everyday it brings me to the point of realizing my mistakes of not acquiring as much bitcoin as I could, the time no one including myself didn't believe satoshi will become the lord of the highest coin in the coin technology, this is a tittle from me though

If you look at the Bitcoin after 5 years you may regret again incase you don't start accumulate Bitcoin nowadays. So regretting about the past won't change the future, rather starting accumulation would decide our future. We are witness to how Bitcoin has been growing, including institutional interest in it. Countries are adapting Bitcoin even considering Bitcoin as a reserve asset. So more growth on the way, we just have to know capitalize it.

Better strategy would accumulate through DCA strategy. So you can take advantage of the each dump and you will have more Bitcoin on your bag. That means you will not have to regret it after years, and you will have good savings in old age. Until how long you can hold it's depends on you, but keep in mind that Bitcoin for life, not for the lifetime.

If someone bought bitcoin in lump sum even before 10 years ago they will be insanely rich right now so yes they are enjoying their early reitrement but we can't say the same thing sill happen in the next 10 years too like if someone buy bitcoin at 100K they will not be making 100x like they did from 2016 to 2026.

Still bitcoin is a great thing but relying enitely if someone is just starting today and plan to reite in the next 30 years then I will say I am not sure about that.

Your saying is with a big assumption that those people did not sell their bitcoins too early and they still hold bitcoin in 2025 or 2026 years. While we know that it's really hard to hold bitcoin in 10 years with many bull and bear market together with a lot of fud. In past years, when Bitcoin market was younger and more sensitive to fud and regulations, it was harder to maintain strong belief in bitcoin and able to hold bitcoin with diamond hands.

From now, Bitcoin ROI with years and cycles will become smaller than past years and previous cycles but I believe that if we can invest and hold bitcoin for 10 years toward the future, ROI would be very good, just not exponential like past cycles.

Yes, it was for the sake of arguement that someone who thought bitcoin as their retirement plan before 10 years ago which worked great but for someone starting today even after 30 years from now may not get the same kind of growth because the price will reach saturation at one point so the growth will be very gradual rather than very rapid ups and downs.

Pensions through Bitcoin are undoubtedly a wonderful idea, but in practice, it would not be possible for me to create a pension fund through Bitcoin because I am not attached to a regular job. For those who have a regular income at the end of the month and are dependent on that regular income, they can hold the entire Bitcoin amount for their future security, but in my case, that is not possible. The amount of income I earn does not support my monthly expenses, so I have to be completely dependent on Bitcoin directly or indirectly. There is no way to hold the amount of Bitcoin I earn. Therefore, I cannot guarantee that I will hold on to my Bitcoin in the future. However, if Bitcoin reaches such a price in the future, then maybe the memory of selling Bitcoin at this time will greatly hurt me.

Getting a pension in Bitcoin is not a bad idea but this will be better if the Bitcoin is being accumulated at different intervals so that it will have a huge worth in the market. This will look like you are using the DCA strategy to accumulate Bitcoin for years as you are working so that when you retired, the value of your Bitcoin must have increased and added huge value. I don't really know how this will be like but that is my opinion about this because I believe in utilizing opportunity to make money like the way investors are pushing their funds into Bitcoin, buying and holding it for a long period of time.

I agree with you, as it can really help someone to have a pension plan in older age or whenever one feels better/comfort to retire. There are many people who save their money in banks for the long term, which I personally think is not a safe way to save money. As at the very first point, if one is holding his money in banks for long term period, then the value of money will surely be devalued due to the increasing inflation rate. Other than this, banks use our money to stand their own business and empire.

And what we get in return is surely nothing, and we will keep losing our money in the form of devaluation. That is why I believe that we should keep our money in the form of good assets, and Bitcoin is a good option for that. It will help us to fight against inflation, and assets will gain their value against fiat currencies. This is my point of view on this. CMIIW!

I'm not the type who really likes pension plans; they're just a scam. I prefer to work and keep earning until I possibly can't work anymore. So for that matter, I might arrange a way so that in the future I can get passive income, whether from a boarding house business that I plan to create, (or other business plans), which will then be combined with long-term savings and investments, whether in Bitcoin and gold. I'm not the type to rely on just one asset for my old age plans, if it can be diversified, I think that's better.
