Some info on today's release, just for clarity:
- We will release the "coinjoin killer", with which we finalise XC's privacy tech, on schedule.
- As with all prior releases of new tech, you can expect updates after the release as we get feedback from you all. Testing in the wild is integral to any successful software. If you encounter an issue, let us know.
- This release is of our privacy tech, which is a "backend" thing. XC's new UI and general user-friendliness is a Rev 2.5 feature, so don't expect mainstream-friendliness yet.
- There'll be paid PR going out, which no doubt will continue to attract the sort of quality investor interest that the XC community is becoming a home for.
P.S. Just in case anyone missed my post this morning, we did not say it'll be out before 8pm GMT. Anyone who thinks this is labouring under a misconception. However this also does not mean it'll necessarily come out after 8pm. But it will come out sometime today.
That sucks, I have to go to bed early because of school tomorrow. 8 PM GMT is 10:00 or 11:00 where I live. Where will the PR going out to? Where are you going to advertise?

2Buy XC with fiat! (GBP initially) Coinerz are nearing the end of their beta and will be launching very soon. - Initially you will be able to buy XC with GBP. - Plans are to expand to the US and the Far East, however this is not in the immediate future. - You can add a "purchase XC for £" banner to webpages, etc. here. We'll keep you posted regarding the launch date. It'll be very, very soon. That is nothing special for peopel that don't live in the UK. When is there going to be an option to buy XC with iDeal? have you tried www.litebit.eu? they're back after some maintenance and added XC again. they support iDeal and now also SOFORT. I have gobbled up some XC's over there the last couple of days and despite some minor delays with the payout (couple of hours) i'm not disappointed so far. @Teka : you might want to add them to the OP again

I think that coinerz is a really big addition, but only UK residents can use it? I didnt really search the site yet, but it accepts skrill(moneybookers) account, and for example I have skrill yet do not reside in the UK.
Really excited to be part of this!

Let's support the Keepod campaign further! You'll notice that XC's support of the Keepod campaign hasn't exactly been enormous (though some of us may well have paid in BTC or some other denomination). But let's donate some XC! I-m glad that XC team is interested and gets involved is such wonderfull campaigns! I donated myself some XC last week and I want to encourage others who didint already! Donating shows the quality of ppl we have in our comunity! SO go ahead ! Go go go !

They removed XC from their supported coins. 2. They are way to expensive, it is cheaper to buy Bitcoins first and then exchange them for XC.

No idea about there rates but ... why would you say they removed XCurrency when its not? They had it removed a little while ago.

What is being suggested is that you remove your post where you say that they removed XC since they have added it again. Do it and I'll delete this one too. Does any of this matter? I'll just re-add them to the updated OP tomorrow. Sorted.

Can we start making XC with our Xmixers after today's release? I'd like to see an answer to this question as well. Current test release works wonderfully but running an Xmixer costs -0.00001 XC per private transaction for the Xmixer

It matters. We probably have a lot of folks coming to the thread and we don't need incorrect statements being read by newcomers. yup i'm here no offense but this is a circlejerk community/thread/situation with the release. reposting huge pictures that make people excited should be encouraged

3 Another useful source of liquidity: Coin4Coin integrates XC! Retailers can now accept XC regardless of what coins they want to be paid in. They can also accept payment in all sorts of coins and be paid in XC. Upon request, they are changing their form to say "XCurrency".
