The UK Gambling Commission has written to Fairlay telling them not to accept bitcoin bets from people with a UK IP address!!
Is that just unbelievable?
My country is becoming a closed prison very slowly.
No doubt they'll be writing to all the other sportsbooks too......Or maybe they have already and the others are not listening to them.
How the hell can the UK people have any jurisdiction over what I do with my bitcoin or,  especially,  over who Fairlay and possibly others can accept wagers from.
This will have huge ramifications for bitcoin enthusiasts in Britain.

Sorry, this is the only disadvantage of Fairlay - we don't offer any bonus. The reason is that we do not earn yet any money with sport bets. Alls bets are player/player and we take 0% fees on sport bets. We only take a 2% fee on the winnings on none sport bets, but this is not enough to payout a welcome bonus.
