Proof of Interest campaign 2 - definitely I'm in. Keep up such spirit ...

Thumbs up for the next POI campaign.

I love the idea of buying in-game options, powerups etc with XMG. I would also like to see the ability to trade in and out of the game with XMG. Buying in is nothing new but I have never seen an option to trade out (not that I do a lot of gaming anyway).

This is will be only possible with XMG, this is a survival game so normally you got nothing and only for XMG we make it possible to get a head start.

To go back to the Counterstrike Source server, also here you can buy stuff for in the game, like skins, light trails, reserved server slot (if the server is full and you want to play someone els who didnt buy a slot will be kicked) ect.

The server will be 24/7 online.

Yeah I realize that is challenge. Ground-breaking stuff always is. You might not have to attach the wallet to the game directly. In-game credits from finds, achievements (and item trades etc) could be converted to "real" XMG when/if a player wants to "cash out" their account. I am not saying that I have all the answers here - just thinking aloud.

But change it to clone: https://github.com/magi-project/wolf-m7m-cpuminer-V2

It will most likely attain the same outcome?

Edit: I am just wondering if I also have to worry about the dependencies of the github package?

You just need the dependencies (it's failing because you don't have GMP installed).

A cursory check of MacPorts suggests that this will get the dependencies:

I have already got macports installed and gmp installed, and I have now installed gmp again but it still fails to make.

Run the autogen and configure commands again - you need to update their results to generate a Makefile.

So I ran the autogen and configure again and I see where it is failing. Your right it comes up saying:

But when I install gmp again it says that it is installed.

Nice Goldlabel! I like this very much. It will bring Magi closer to the Game-world. Mago will get more attention by this. Great work amigo!

Not sure what its asking for with this.

Someone suggested that re-running configure with the extra flags "-march=native -mtune=native -maes" might work if you use it along with this Makefile.am.

It might work fine without the extra flags, so long as you use the updated Makefile.am. (The author said it was a fix for clang, which you appear to be using.)

Wow thats a long list of options. Great!!!
About the trading outside the game.
The risk of being scammed by trading with somebody else will always be there.
Might be possible to attach a gamers walletaddress to their account on your servers.
Trading there will be the option or choice of the player. If hè trust the other player than there is no problem.
Could you check if there is an option to add the walletaddress to the players account?

Does it matter with what amount you start or its just how much do you gain during POI period?

Example:
1 - I start with 10 XMG in my wallet, at the end of POI I finish with 500 XMG (gained 490 XMG)
2 - I start with 5000 XMG, at the end I have 5490 XMG (gained 490 XMG)

Is the interes the same?

Not sure what its asking for with this.

I found the same bug when compiling for Windows i.e. -fuse-linker-plugin flag should not be there because it is not valid in the context used. I used a text editor to remove the string from the Makefiles (four files in all) manually. This was done after running configure and before running make. You should get a successful compile after that.

Edit: Once you have got a successful compile to go through, there is a lot you can do to make the minerd executable run faster. It does mean some extra work and editing makefiles directly which is not for the faint-hearted, but it is worth the effort. Let me know when you are ready
