We've had an issue with that but we solved it some time ago..

Could you give us a bit more information?

Are you running a HD wallet?
Did this error occur suddenly or after an update?

IsLocked() is returning true in the code, while it should return false, hence that's why it stops working.

In the mean time, can you back up your wallet.dat, stop any shadowcoind daemons that might be running and remove the contents of .shadowcoin folder except the wallet.dat and shadowcoind.conf file!

Extract the contents of this ZIP into your .shadowcoin folder:
<https://github.com/ShadowProject/blockchain/releases/download/latest/blockchain.zip>

Try running shadowcoind after that.

Isn't there a noobs guide to using ShadowCoin's features? There are some things that I quite don't know about it yet, like how to use ShadowChat and the stealth addresses. If it did, then I would knew how to use SDC better.

The new wallet with market will probably be here before a complete guide to the current wallet will be completed, and then everything will be different.

Thanks, i don't have slack, but ill check back here, maybe someone can hook up a relay to irc2p, i heard one of the devs got shadow to work with i2p SAM it might be a good idea

I would like an android wallet too but priorities are priorities and everyone is working hard from what I read in the community Slack chan on the new gui and escrow/market shtuff. Seems far ahead of any competition I believe. But who really knows right? Your best bet is joining the Slack channel to get updates. JOIN IN!
