I think Setting some buy orders at 0.01 btc will be wise decision if you are bag holding XMR which you have bought at very high price like i have done to minimize the loss even if price bounce back again to 0.02 or near to that level.

What you are feeling right now is common. Probably everyone here has felt it. If you believe as I do that monero fundamentally has the potential to be kind of a big deal then in the future your entry at what now looks like the top will be a decision you are very proud of. For what is worth there is still a reasonable chance that we've seen the all time high... Monero could be an experiment that has run it's course. But to me it is hard at this point to even type that sentence. Load up as much as you think it's worth.. As much as you are comfortable with... but don't beat yourself up too much for buying monero in the fall of 2016. If you are convinced as I am just let 2018 be the judge of that. Though I think we will all be seeing good things well in advance of then.

Though I think we will all be seeing good things well in advance of then. I'm with you 100%, I enjoy your posts they are very well done! I have bought XMR at all kinds of prices, and sadly, have probably lost a few chances at making a LOT of money just because of timing and too many eggs in one basket. I don't think this is an experiment that will fail, myself. Only because, as a long time tech person, I see the benefits of XMR over BTC, and I truly believe that once the rest of the world sees it (I guess that takes a fancy GUI, because simplewallet is so damn difficult , they will come around and see, hey, a real digital currency like cash. Well goddamn it, about time. Cheers to all bagholders - HODL on!

We've certainly seen the all time high. The question is, how soon until the next one? 0.01 is the new 0.001.
Agreed. Although much like the old 0.001, I think it's unlikely we'll ever see it. My guess is we'll spend the next x amount of months drifting between 0.0125 and 0.018. I don't really see us going below 0.012.

About .4% of the supply. And he got them super cheap, cos we're a bunch of brokeass chumps: no competition.

I already closed my short with +7%....when you still think that a conversation in this thread will change anything on the price than you should maybe go for another business xD So what i want ot say is, that i dont have to talk a price down cause i try to act to the market which means sometimes long, sometimes short...thats how it works dude.

Are there just no sellers left? As usual my bids are left gasping for air, drowning as the tidal wave of support washes over and buries them.
It appears as though I might have to make do with a lower percentage of the total than I was hoping for, C'est la vie.
Edit: I mean, I can see the sellers walls, their asks just sitting there, tempting... But there seems no selling pressure. seems like no one willing to let go...
Edit 2: ah, here it comes?

What do you think? Is this finally it guys. Have we finally found support? This pattern doesn't quite match anything we have seen yet in this down trend.

We've now broken the pattern... But is it just one big buyer and then we resume the float towards or actual trend reversal. Our volume will help tell that story I think. But with folks Max Kaiser waking up to monero is just a matter of time before... ... China

I don't know anymore. I've given up trying to predict. I think I'm gonna move to full BTFD mode, or maybe just dollar cost averaging. I sold a nice chunk on the way up and I think I'd like to get it back now. Was hoping for a better price, but my patience is wearing thin and I'll start taking whatever I can get.

But with folks Max Kaiser waking up to monero is just a matter of time before... ... China The pattern is a lie! It's likely some very sharp, algorithmically-enhanced, well-funded players who missed the years of ch33p c01nZ are using their whalesque heft in order to catch up by bullying little fishes into panic selling before the next (French/Chinese/SE Asian?) wave of new money enters the market. Then there is the fact mass dumping began coincident with Otoh's latest Dash pump. Recall he rage-dumped tons of XMR last year, because in order to warn the public of fraud some socially conscious Mustangs said unflattering things about his instamined shitcoin HYIP. I notice XMR is up on very low volume relative to the rest of the moonth, which is unusual, but perhaps explained by the high(est) daily volume compared to the other coins being traded.
