Discards are pretty much meaningless for anything but vaguely measuring wasted CPU on the miner. (I removed all the crap from my S2 firmware I released coz there's plenty of "ignore" data on the Bitmain miner web pages)

that transaction isn't from the solo pool. You sure you didn't name some other pool which is also using the ckpool back-end, like kano.is, ckpool? Post the tx-id so we can have a look.

But wait... Where is the entire block?.. ckpool is open sourced and used all over the place; it is not the name of a single pool.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text. Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing? A: Top-posting. Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

This pool didn't find a block yesterday anyway. That's correct. It's a label he assigned to that address. He could have labeled it "I like beer" and it wouldn't make a difference. Chances are it's just some spam transaction. Rabinovitch, post the TxID. Maybe something can be discerned from it.

He's been online on the forum earlier after Gws24's post and again now. Clearly he's not interested in it - so just ignore it.

I think in the last 6 months there was someone with roughly 1 TH to hit it.

Didn't somebody hit with 880GH/s or something a while back? Pretty sure that was here...

I’m not 100% sure but in solo.nicehash a user hit a block with ~300GH/s before a few weeks (cant find stats right now) so it’s a matter of luck. I’m almost a week with 1 technobit dice with 180GH/s in the pool and my best share is only about 27 millions It’s not about the money, its something like gambling so everybody has a chance. Good Luck to all
