the mtgox price manipulation.... it burns!
It's so obvious too.. Wait for the rally to slow down and bids to thin out.. Spam a bunch of BTC0.01 sell orders to lag MtGox, and put up a fake BTC1-2k sell wall. Happens every time. |

What kind of issues? I've got LTC there I forgot about. Random blackouts all day plus now thers a 502 Bad Gateway error. I used to be able to trade with the api once the site was unresponsive but now it is impossible to even reach that, |

Not enough cash. You need to be able to buffer the volatility since you can't tranfer gox codes to btc-e even with bitinstant. |

I know they are shady as fuck, but I can't see any difference to other exchanges either. When it comes to incompetence gox is on par, they are just bigger. |

It's a good thing. Hopefully more people will get annoyed, like you, and move to other exchanges. It will be a lot harder to manipulate things when the exchange is distributed. |

It's a good thing. Hopefully more people will get annoyed, like you, and move to other exchanges. It will be a lot harder to manipulate things when the exchange is distributed. Unfortunately one exchange will always have to be "The Bitcoin Price", and the manipulators will always go there. Although I guess Gox's lag problem is making it an even easier target... |
