That being said, I have to wonder why it is that members of the dev team (and the wider ERC community) who are in a position to assist or advise are not present on this thread. This place used to be much more active; why so quiet now? And why hide away on Telegram? Personally, I have always favoured Bitcointalk over all the other options. Maybe that's just me.

Hi Cryptonaire. No, it's not just you. I used to use BCT too, but I shifted to Telegram because everybody else seemed to have moved there. A bit of a shame, I think, as this forum is just a bit more 'user-friendly', in my opinion. Never mind. Anyway, this is supposed to be all about the ERC project, so let's take it back there, shall we? Latest news (yes, on Telegram!) is that Matthias is working on a new roadmap for ERC; this is due to be finalized and published on 10th May 2023, his own self-imposed deadline. So that gives us something to look forward to. |

Hello DD. Thanks for mentioning the roadmap; it's just the sort of thing the ERC project needs right now. It really has been lacking direction and momentum for quite a while. 10th May is only 8 days away, so here's hoping that Matthias can deliver on time and we can all start to see the ERC come back to life!

Yes, of course. And why not. You said it yourself that 10/05/23 is an actual deadline, a target date that Matthias imposed on himself. Why not highlight the fact that this deadline exists? And that we are getting extremely close to it by the day. After all, it IS important! As I indicated earlier, this project has been lacking in both direction and momentum; the roadmap will rectify that. So the attention of every ERC community member should be sharply-focused on next Wednesday. That is all that I am attempting to achieve. |
